I'm not sure what I expected.
Planet USA? Really?
Although I'm not an United States citizen, I'm a bit happy that Obama won in Maple.
I voted for Romney because he looks like a stand up guy.
Honestly, I'm surprised. Given the racism I've seen ingame, I thought there'd be more votes for Romney.
likes how Romeny won zero southern states.
This is great~ I love seeing this sort of thing. Even though it's kinda more for funsies on the game.
Utah: expected/10
This is cute. I remember having mock elections in school.
Not at all surprised at the results given the demographic.
International: Obama 87% Romney 13%

Name recognition.
People outside the USA, especially teens who don't much care about the news anyway, don't even know who Romney is, much less what he stands for.
Also, even if the polled were knowledgeable, one would assume they'd vote according to their own country's best interest, which is not necessarily the same as the USA's.
(I'm not saying Romney is best for the USA, or isn't. Just saying the foreign vote means even less than the American Mapler vote.)
I don't think our country will be thrown into hell more if Obama has his other 4 years.
But really, really. I highly doubt teenagers who rarely care for the news would make a good choice of backup to who favors who.
depends on location, Britain already hates Romney for essentially insulting them during the olympics. Putin(russia, but doesnt speak out to most russians, but as a political example) prefers obama over romney arms disassembly. Anybody who uses the internet is probably heard of romney enough that hes pretty much a horrible choice as a leader and the rest of the world wonders why hes even an option.
You think so? I think most people have at least heard of Romney and know a little bit about him and what he represents. I believe the skew is due to the participating demographic consisting of mostly 13-19 year olds living in cities and suburbs, a demographic which tends to have liberal beliefs. Europe is also generally more liberal than the US.
Given the ignorance of the general population, especially in the US, I'd be shocked if more than 10% of the people who voted in this poll are actually informed about the policy/ideology differences between Obama and Romney. I'll admit I didn't really give two pomegranates about politics until about two years ago, at 20.
