Why should I go Low-STR? Convince me.

I did a lot of reading on the different types of bandits, back on SW, over a span of months. Fandits? dats a gud 1. I'm a Low DEX Shadower; 60 base DEX and I'm equipping a DT. By next week, I'll be 60 base DEX and I'll be able to equip a Blood Dagger. I'm getting my hands on a HT Pendant.

Now, it's already godly enough (I'm a giant bragger when I talk about my Shadower) that I'll be able to equip a BD at a 60 base, but I've heard of HT necklaces being the reason why so many Low DEX Shadowers converted to Low DEX/Low STR. Let me see if I can remember this all correctly:
15 STR Zakum Helmet
22 STR Pendant
9 STR Shield
4 Base STR

So there's 50 STR pulled out of nowhere; I have no equipment that I use to intentionally boost my STR. I currently wear a 17 LUK 2 DEX top. If I replaced this 17 LUK with a 20 STR top, I would be able to equip a Golden Double Knife while STILL maintaining a 4 base DEX, which would make me a STRless Low-Dex.

Is it truly worth taking away that 17 LUK (Which is equivalent to about 4~5 ATK), and replacing it with a STR top to equip a STR Dagger?

To sum all of this up, I've heard good things about STR Shadowers. I've heard they've got the most potential, the best damage if well equipped, and well known Low DEX Shadowers (Such as AndyPandyz or whatever), have made this switch.

So, tell me what you think.

3. Khanjars, and dragon khanjars (In fact I kno someone with a 28 atk dragon khanjar oO godly)

I guess it really depends on if you're able to get a STR dagger that is better than your blood dagger, and able to get your hands on a khanjar/dragon khanjar.

I guess it really depends on if you're able to get a STR dagger that is better than your blood dagger, and able to get your hands on a khanjar/dragon khanjar.

Higher base damage is only in the later levels when the amount of damage gained from att outweighs the luk advantage LUK Shadowers have. LUK adds more to both Min and Max damage than STR does.

Assuming we're talking about late levels (150+), STR will eventually win out because of their weapons having a higher range and the fact that once HT pendants can be fully scrolled, you'll have an entire 73 STR from your Pendant, 15 from your helm, and 4 base, resulting in 83 STR, more than even the Timeless daggers will require.

17 LUK (Which is equivalent to about 4~5 ATK)

17 LUK is about 3-4 att, unless you have insane amounts of Att and relatively low LUK.

You're saying that going STR won't really be worth it until A. Horntail Pendants can be scrolled to their full potential, and B. Level 150+?

Mm, I only say I, personally, wouldn't do it until Horntail Pendants can be fully scrolled, mostly just because I hate shuffling equips around. All personal preference though x_o

If you have access to a 20+ STR top, I'd go for it, it just seems a bit unreasonable to me.

The part about 150+ was due to the fact that HT pendants still aren't >that< common for lower level Shadowers, not aimed specifically at your concerns. (Yeah, should've stated that earlier.)

in ur calculations, remove the str shield as one of hte main purposes of switching to low dex str would be to use the dragon khanjar, which if well upgraded maximizes your attack hence making you stronger. so what you should do if u want to keep your str low while converting is indeed switch to a str top and raise your dex according to how much a dragon khanjar requires. with that said get a well upgraded dragon khanjar and a well upgraded str dagger and you'll do more damage than your luk counterpart. this is because a well upgraded dragon khanjar will give your more attack than the extra 17luk or more, especially as your level increases.
