MAPLESTORY CANADIAN WALLPAPER CONTEST
RULES AND REGULATIONS
BY ENTERING THIS COMPETITION YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.
1. SPONSOR:
Nexon America Inc, (Sponsor) who is solely responsible for all aspects of this contest ("Contest").
2. CONTEST PERIOD AND ENTRY; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:
This Contest may only be entered by Internet, during the period commencing
Augist 20, 2012 and end on August 27, 2012 (the "Contest Period"), as a registered member ("Member") of www.nexon.net (the "Web Site"), which said Web site includes Sponsor's online game, MapleStory ("MapleStory"). You may enter by visiting the Web site and logging in by providing your Member Name and Password. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times and days are Pacific Time. If you are not a Member, you may easily register for free to become a Member through the link on the site: www.nexon.net by filling out the simple Registration Form. There is no purchase necessary to enter this contest; however, normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply.
3. PROCEDURES:
To enter the Contest, you must submit wallpaper (Wallpaper) that meets the following criteria: the minimum resolution should be at least 1280 x 720 pixels and the maximum resolution should be no greater than 1920 x 1080 pixels; your submission must feature Maple Leaves and MapleStory game assets and include your character ID and world in the image. Your Wallpaper must be an original work and is subject to the rules and regulations set forth herein. To be eligible to win, you submit your entry to email
webevents@nexon.net using subject line: MapleStory Canadian Wallpaper Contest. At the close of the Contest Period, Sponsor shall choose five (5) winners (collectively referred to as the Winners) subject to the conditions set forth herein. Subject to Sponsors sole judgment and discretion, Sponsor shall pick the five winning (5) entries it finds to be the funniest with the most Canadian spirit. After the Winners are chosen, Sponsor shall send notification to each Winner via e-mail which shall also include a request for Winner's login information. Winners shall have seven (7) days to respond to Sponsor's message and supply its login information to be eligible to receive the Prize. Upon response, Sponsor shall then verify whether Winner is in good standing with Sponsor's Web Site. Upon verification as set forth herein, the Prize will be delivered to the Winners within 30 days after verification. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] In the event Sponsor identifies a Winner who has been banned or suspended from the Website, [2] the return of any notice as undeliverable; [3] potential winner's failure to respond to Sponsor's notification within seven (7) days of receipt and [4] any other non-compliance of the Rules. In the event of disqualification, a new winner will be chosen subject to the same procedure set forth above. A list of the Winners may be provided, by sending a self addressed stamped envelop to Nexon America Inc. at 137 N. Larchmont Blvd., #619 Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704. Allow 8-10 weeks for reply.
4. PRIZE: The following Prizes will be awarded to the Winners, subject to the procedures set forth in Section 3 above:
