]We are pleased to announce that starting on Thursday, August 9th, MapleStory will be available through Steam for players from U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand!
:okay:
I know it's like this for other Nexon games, but just making more people aware of it:

Hmm... so if you link one account to your Steam ID, can you launch the game through Steam, then open a second client through the Nexon launcher and log into a different account? This could be convenient.
Can anyone confirm the lag mentioned earlier? That could be... inconvenient.
$9.99 for a 90day pet.
LOL.
No MapleStory has this symbol so it is PC only.
Only games with the apple symbol (does not need to be STEAMPLAY or apple+window it was the only image I can find quickly) can play on Mac.
I am having an issue installing Maple on Steam.
I keep getting this message when installing.
Spoiler
When I press OK it closes the install window too.
Anyone else having an issue or know how to get around this?
Who writes this junk?Welcome to the world of MapleStory, where a cast of unique characters cant wait to meet you, where a portal to adventure hides in every trash can and phone booth, and where you and your friends can customize your characters however you like.
I don't reside in one of those countries so yeah. Patching through steam would be nice but linking one account, not so nice.
Ok, so let's assume that you only have one GMS client installed, and it's installed through Steam.
One, if you go directly to the MapleStory.exe and run it, what happens?
Two, if it opens up the MapleStory site, can you run MapleStory through the browser normally?
Three, if the above won't work, can you still make a shortcut from it and run MapleStory directly with the "GameLaunching" tag?
Semi-desperate Public Relations/Marketing people, who are trying to make a bad thing sound better.

Well, this Steam interface is no better than logging in through the website. Forget running multiple accounts. I am gonna stick with the old fashioned way.
