Girl character with an Arm Cannon.. Must be a Samus Aran ripoff...
Honestly, the comparison to megaman or any other character is simply based on the notion that nobody believes that any idea can be original anymore. Because of that, folks feel the need to go out and find the source of inspiration and use it as flame material for the creators. Angelic Burster has a lot of influences in it. How come nobody is saying that the grappling hook maneuver that Kaiser has is an obvious Rygar ripoff? Or a Bionic Commando ripoff? (Cuz 95% of you aren't old enough to remember those games...) In the end, it has pretty much all been done before to some degree. Unfortunately this has created a modern generation of cynics who can't just enjoy things for what they are regardless of the inspirational sources they drew from. Yeah, it's highly similar to some popular characters, but that's perfectly fine. It doesn't require any further analysis than that.
Angelic Burster confirmed for Pink Maple Shooter. Also, fun with acronyms.
Do want in GMS.
That's horrifically vague though.
That slight resemblance in that one area, and nowhere else, is enough to be Megaman? The class itself doesn't resemble anything Megaman at all. The only thing you get is ''buster'' from it, and even that isn't obvious enough when energy/arm cannons in general are often called busters. Yes, even in separate franchises entirely from Megaman.
That ''obvious resemblance'' isn't even seen when playing the actual class.
>Angelic Burster resembles Black Rock Shooter, with a young girl transforming into a magical girl based on an idol whose main weapon is gatling greatness
>Everyone just wants to argue about how Buster barely resembles the Rockman from Star Force
Can someone explain this to me?
Because I fail to see how Burster's periphery resemblance to a guy with an arm cannon is more relevant than her resemblance to an idol with an even larger cannon. Or even relevant at all.
Have you watched her 1st job training or the first half of her second job?. Little girl (while rock is a little robot boy) with a hand cannon shooting balls of energy at enemies in a 2d/sidescrolling game. I never said the resemblance was huge, but it is there.
It's true there are many games of the type, but megaman is prolly the most famous one along with the first Metroids, so when you're gonna compare it, you compare it to megaman.

I feel the need to say that Megaman could not continuously fire his gun, you needed to tap the button.
If Angelic Buster resembles Rock Man, Samus, or Black Rock Shooter, then the Demon Slayer resembles friggen Raziel!
This Guy
