    Say, I have a +4 cape right now, 1 slot failed

    If I were to Potential and then Enhance that cape to 1 star, would I still be able to use a clean slate scroll on it afterwards?

    You can hammer an item after using EE on it so I dont see why not.

    As long as u have at least 1 failed slot from normal scrolls, u can start using clean slates. Potential/enhance have nothing to do with clean slate.
