Can't say for sure what I used on each, but using 25 enlightening cubes total, I got;

Rare earrings to Unique with 9% luk/3% all/9% str
Epic VSS to Legendary with 12% str/random crap/DCO
Unique Lionheart gloves remained Unique - lost 12% str off those which wasn't a loss overall...
Rare Mask, stayed rare (had 5k maple points on random account, gloves weren't tradeable so w/e)

So, I'm content that they didn't TRY to scam.

Golden Snail to the NX rescue, but 33 Enlightenment Cubes later, my sword is still Unique, and has worse potential than before.

Didn't rank up but I got Decent Hyper Body... so whatever.

40 more cubes on my Gun and it's still Unique. I think that brings the total cubes I've used on it to near 200. However, I ended up with 20% Boss/30% Ignore/9% Atk so that's good enough

Used 11 cubes on my Unique HTP and ended up with Legendary, 21% Dex. I guess that makes up for the pomegranatety luck with my Gun.

11 Enlightenment Cube - Legendary 3L

Was not happy even though it gave me a huge boost in attack, I really wanted 65% Boss.
Decided to cube again...
9 Super Miracle Cubes and 5 Enlightenment Cubes Later....

I put 100k NX into this. I am now left with 1,400 NX.
