Heterochromia is cool though.
Oh look, more mages. Everyone knows mages are OP/useless, choose one.
I wonder if this is going to be (another...) new class or if it's something that influences the black mage storyline.
Nexon korea sure likes to throw us massive ass curve balls lately.
welp a tleast he looks a bit cooler than evan
From what I gather, Mages would be the class most sidelined by Nexon if Pirates didn't exist.
But I may be wrong. I probably am.
It's like a twin headed scepter...
Hmm, if this is a new class, I wonder what the other two will be. Can't be a big summer patch without three, shiny, new classes!
Hoping it's some kind of magical Pirate
I think it's entertaining that Wizet would go this far just to screw Pirates out of a Legend.
So..... original guy split into this guy (light) andSpeigelmanthe Black Mage (dark), and this guy joined up with Aran, Freud, Mercedes, and Phantom to defeat his dark half?
.....
Well, there goes my theory that after the other Cygnus Instructors, that Cygnus herself would be the final class in the Black Mage patch to be the one overpowered class to rule them all.
Seems like an incredible amount of assuming in this thread, we're SURE this is a class and also SURE it would mean no pirate hero? And we're also not thinking this image might not be the black mage himself at one point in his existence? They just showed an image of him before that looked like the time of the original battle, this character may be storyline based in a way that doesn't imply a new class.
Battlemages and bishops are still good without being OP from their updates.
Guess this one will be an offensive version of bishops? (besides battlemages)

He does use chains similar to the black mage.
But from the title description In the Darkness, Light is born, it could be a new class as well.
Maybe it will show the Black Mage's past through playable flashbacks, similarly to how Aran's intro works.
Reminds me of Monk though.
Hadriel
It's times like these that make me wonder why Nexon bothered releasing the Pirate class to begin with.
