Really hoping for this to be just a boss or ANYTHING other than another job. Jesus pineappleing Christ, i'm really starting to think that every little piece of story that is related to the Black Mage HAS to come through another job's storyline; that thing is more likely a recoloured and redesigned Demon Slayer, it'd be absolutely awful if it was ANOTHER new class. :|

What if (and this is an optimistic thought about it) the person shown is a boss and the sword is one of the more significant drops you can get from him? That would be better than a new job and explain the reason for the weapon evolving... though that is with my thoughts being fully optimistic.
