  1. Default About Potential Status [ 5% chance to ignore 20% / 40% Damage when attacked ] ?

    About Potential Status
[ 5% chance to ignore 20% Damage when attacked ]
[ 5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked ]

    what is this work ?

    question:

    1. Did it work like Paladin [Achilles] ?
    Ans : Yes.

    2. Did it Stack? Like example :
[ topwear with potential status with ]
5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked
5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked
5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked

will it become 15% chance to ignore 40% Dmg when attacked ?
Ans : mayb will become 15% chance to ignore 120% Dmg when attacked

    3. If stack , how many EQ can have it ?
Ans : currently i saw is Topwear , other not sure.

    4. Will it like Paladin [Achilles] skill to ignore the boss skill [ 1HP 1MP ] ?
Achilles have ignore 20% , so the boss caste the skill [ 1HP 1MP] the paladin HP wont get to 1.

will the potential like this too ?
    Ans : yes.

sorry my english no good , hope u all understand my question . ty.

Just going by the wording of the skill, I would say that it does work like achilies in how damage is shafted. however I have no idea if/how it would stack. because it could also be 5% chance to ignore 120% damage when attacked or 15% chance to ignore 120% damage when attacked.

And again for equipment I dont know which one it would be on. but its probably not the weapon.....lol

But yes if it works like achillies then 1/1's won't knock out your hp all the way to 1.

    I believe its :

5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked
5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked
5% chance to ignore 40% Damage when attacked

With this i mean that the skill would proc individually so there is no 15% chance or 120% (I seriously doubt it, i think it would stack multiplicative instead of additive) unless the 3 instances procs at the same hit... And knowing nexon its most likely that you could only have one of these proc at a time or something.

My best guess would be the following:

If you were to have 3 lines of that potential, this will happen:
Maple checks if the 5% of the first line is hit. If it is, 40% dmg is ignored, and it stops there. If it isn't, maple will check if the 2nd line is hit, again, the same for the 3rd.
That means there would be an 0.05+0.95*0.05+0.95*0.95*0.05=0.1426 = 14.26% chance it will work, and you will ignore 40% of damage.

    it sucks massively.

potential always stacks aditively, but this potential is pretty weird, and it sucks so bad that i haven't bothered testing it.

but no, it does not work as achilles.
