Default How do Shadow Shifter and Avoid stat stack with each other?

Apologies if this question has been asked before; I do vaguely recall this being brought up sometime, but I can't seem to find where.

    4 types of avoid.
Avoid. Which is the stat in your window. This calculates an Evasion Rate.
Avoid Rate. Which multiplies your avoid by whatever percentage it is, this contributes to the Evasion Rate.
Dodge Rate. This is a flat chance to avoid an attack.
Evasion Rate%. This multiplies your evasion rate by whatever percentage it provides.

Evasion Rate is the rate of a monster missing you. Suppose you had 6500 avoid and 10% er%. 6500 avoid calculated itself to say, 62% evasion rate for Horntail. Take the 62% multiply it by 1.1 and you get 68.2% evasion rate. Now suppose you had Shadow Shifter, which is 45% dodge rate. Take 100% - 68.2% = 31.8% and multiply that by .45 which is 14.31% chance that it will proc.

So Shifter's proc rate is calculated on the remaining hit chance... alright, thanks.

whoa, according to that, a shad with max avoid has an 83% chance to not be hit by PB, which after the avo rate of shield mastery turns into 99.6% chance to not be touched, not counting shifter? is there something wrong here, or that's correct? o.o

Avoid/Evasion changed in Chaos and again in Justice. That calculator is outdated.

yea, was pretty sure of this, it does seem to return to some of it's former glory after justice though
only thing i've noticed (warrior) is that magic is an ass, and ignores miss invulnerability, plus i got hit a bit more, but i'm a warrior, so shrugs*

kinda hijack but what about the guard rate on shield mastery? is that calculated as a dodge? and if so, is it added to guardians "block" chance or is there a specific order in which they are applied. And which order if that.

Though It could be applied before everything else just because of how Divine shield uses "guards" and they are always applied before everything else.
