In order to secure his own advancement, this determined champion has repeatedly employed the foolproof method of lopping his boss’ head off. So whether you believe that the road to power is paved with the headless bodies of your enemies, or you simply think that a good beheading is a rather expedient method of dealing with red tape, we think you’ll agree that Darius makes a fine addition to the League of Legends.

Well, we'll probably find out this weekend.

Expecting his ult to fall about halfway between Olaf's and Cho'Gaths abilities as far as damage is concerned. His skills seem great for teamfights/lategame, but he looks to have a fairly tough time laning/jungling without any internal sustain, shields, or gap closers (unless his hook has a decent range). Everything looks good/fun on paper, but we'll see.

Welcome to League of Legends Champion Spotlight, featuring Darius, the Hand of Noxus!

Darius is a melee tanky DPS, and excells at debuffing enemies, peeling targets, doing tons of damage™, executing enemies, and is a force to be reckoned with in the battlefield. In this spotlight, I will also play him as a jungler to highlight his strong potential when Darius is played in the jungle.

Well, I tried my best. If anyone can beat me with predicting what Phreak has to say, go for it. Lol.

Abilities:

• Hemorrhage (Passive): Darius aims his attacks strategically, causing his to target bleed. This effect stacks up to five times.
• Decimate: Darius swings his axe in a lethal circle. Enemies struck by its blade take more damage than those struck by its shaft.
• Crippling Strike: Darius's next attack severs a crucial artery. As the target bleeds out, their movement and attack speeds are slowed. Crippling Strike's cooldown is lower the more bloodied its target.
• Apprehend: Darius hones his axe, granting him passive armor penetration. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.
• Noxian Guillotine (Ultimate): Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing true damage. This damage is increased for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target. If Noxian Guillotine is a killing blow, its cooldown is refreshed.
