    Wizet started down that road originally but ultimately decided it was too complicated for a casual gamer to have a full stat system and invest the time and effort in figuring out what to tweak to accomplish their goals, so they moved progressively further into a single stat system pandering to their lowest common denominator; people willing to pay an assload to invest in a single number to make them "better".

    Well, they certainly made a success of that objective. I guess online game developers have to eventually decide if they're targeting a "churn and burn" population or whether they're looking to reward loyal players with continuing challenge. And we know what Nexon has decided.

    Guess I'll go back to Angband. 30 years old and still has better re-playability and depth of customization than most current games. Crappy graphics, though.
