It takes

Base Str - 4 = A

Do same thing with the other 3 stats. Gives you all of those as free points. People have already done it and they didn't lose their 10 free points.

Lets say I were to afk and come back later. Would I still get my stuff?

In the latest hot times you got a box that could not be opened for the first 30 minutes, but it expired a few hours later. So you would need to be back in time to open the box.

Once you put those 10 extra AP into HP/MP you couldn't take them out.

But it was moot point, since if you didn't put those 10 AP into HP/MP you couldn't even use a AP reset.

I think it is usually midnight server time they expire.
