  1. Default Few questions on Character card deck system


    I don't think these ever got a clear specific answer so if anyone knows the answers to these for sure, preferably from a source from testing on KMS itself, that would be perfect.

    1. The paladin, ice mage, and buccaneer buff. How exactly do that work for B, A, S, SS


    2. You can have 2 decks with 3 cards each for 6 cards. Does that mean you can just swap decks for ease or can you technically have 6 card buffs apply to 1 character and then even more set bonuses for 1 character.

    The buffs for all 6 cards, and their set bonuses, apply to every character on your account at all times, you don't have to swap between decks or anything like that.

    I'm still looking into the paladin, ice mage, and bucc thing, but perhaps someone else knows the answer.

    Paladin
    Increase Physical Attack
    B: 0.5x
    A: 1x
    S: 1.5x
    SS: 2x

    I/L Mage
    Increase Magic Attack
    B: 0.5x
    A: 1x
    S: 1.5x
    SS: 2x

    Viper/Buccaneer
    Additional damage per level
    B: 1
    A: 2
    S: 4
    SS: 5

    Those are the stats just to make it clear. But I cant seem to figure it out myself either.
    I doubt 1.5x for paladins would mean 1.5x damage. that would be way to Op..

    So for each card level, you would get +2 stats.

    At level 4 (200 level character), Palading and I/L Archmage cards would give +8 Stats.

    Not sure what buccaneer means.

    The variables for Paly and A/M are lv2pdX and lv2mdX respectively, so it's definitely not all stats. It might be attack and matk, not sure. Bucc is lv2damX, so it's straight up % damage.

    It's 1 + level, where level is the rank of your character card and maxes at 4. +5% damage with a 200 Bucc. In the same vein, the max pdX and mdX you can get is 4, with a level 200 Paly and I/L.

    So 7% damage for a 120 striker and bucc huh. Not too bad.

    There's got to be at least 1 person who has made a level 30 pally, ice mage, and buc and just checked to see what exactly it does. Buccs seem to be %dmg but is pally and ice mage exactly defined for anything yet? The two sources for what pally/ice mage buffs say different things so I would like to see more sources if possible.

    a further question on the system, sorry to derail a little bit, but can you use yourself to buff yourself

    eg: can my paladin use itself as a card

    Ugh... this is unfortunately going to influence my character choices in the future. Ofc bowmasters give the pomegranatetiest buff ever...clearly accuracy is SO useful. Makes me not want to make a ua sair and instead make a ua bucc although an increase in summons duration is kind of useful I suppose...

    Like I said before, the bonuses from the cards apply to every character in the server, so including the characters whose card you use.

    Also, does mikhail have a card?

    Trying to figure out which set of 6 would be most valuable. So far the best cards imo would be

    Bucc: %damage
    Striker: %damage
    Marksman: %crit
    DrK: %HP
    Pally/Ice mage: Gives damage boost but I still don't know exactly how it works
    BaM: Take less damage
    DS: %Status resist
    DB: %Avoid

    Edit: After thinking about it some more, would it make sense that

    Paladin: %Atk
    Ice Mage: %M.atk

    And Flame wiz I guess is %M.Atk as well

    So for paladin it would be

    B - 1.5% Atk
    A - 2.0% Atk
    S - 2.5% Atk
    SS - 3.0% Atk

    Guess I'll have to find out when it comes to gms then.

    Its weird how some of the recent updated skills still have +X accuracy such as bishops getting +15% accuracy
    with holy focus.

    Perhaps +% accuracy does something after all?...

    Isn't p/mdX the variable for physical/magical defense? Don't want to rush making a paladin for the card only to have it increase a useless stat like that.

    Hero is physical def so pretty sure that's a negative. If i'm not mistaken, FP is magic def.

    Kinda wish the deck could hold as many cards as possible. Making some of these different classes is really fun. Even if the paladin buff is worthless, I got it to 172 so far and it's an interesting class to play with. I also understand how ridiculously stupid charged blow was in the old days when it took off your charge. +1 respect for old school WKs/Paladins
