It is probably an event, which is also an excuse to rebuild and revamp masteria.
What a horrible story. Whatever, didn't expect anything else.
I wouldn't be surprised at all. They did say VPQ was coming back, and it's not too far fetched to suppose they'd just drop it back in for kicks with some lame excuse that the aliens are here.
Off-topic: Alliance, Aliens, Alience! zomglololol. It's so punny.
...
I really hope Nexon doesn't do something like that. That was terrible.
DUDE GET OFF THE VISITOR pomegranate IT'S NOT THE VISITORS GOD!
OT:I don't think this will be an event my theory more or less is on the lines of you will see new parts and have a new area of NLC all there with new mobs quests etc and these pictures we see here is what could be if we fail our mission. It won't be a future area but more or less, all the new mobs will be here in present in the dome with some mothership or w.e you wanna say and while doing the quests for Stirgeman or Glimmerman or whoever you get a vision of just the town itself with no surrounding areas. Like, Glimmerman is able to show you this threw telekinetic powers or some crap. But, I'm against this as a time traveling update.
nexon Q&Anexon Q&A[/URL]]Question: After the Bigbang Patch, the NPC to enter the Visitor PQ was removed. Characters left inside are still able to PQ, but no one else can enter. Was this intended?
Answer: So, short answer is it was intended to remove the Visitors PQ, but only because we could not implement it fully after Big Bang. We would like it to come back soon, but it will take a lot of work. We know that some users are still able to do it, but that is not intentional and we will get it fixed soon.
well they said they would like
oh also
Question: Whenever you create or add new content to Maplestory, is there any type of process you use? If so, what are they?
Answer: Great question! Yes, it’s actually a long and complicated process that is planned months in advance. We initially brainstorm ideas, then create a short proposal summarizing the content we want to create. We work with the development team in Korea to refine and fit it within the schedule. We start building the systems to support the new content, do internal testing and finally release it. The process takes 6 to 7 months from start to finish.
You don't get to say that without a source. Otherwise, you look like a pineappleing idiot.
Good luck finding a source, since they never said it.
Your point?
Desire and fact are often not in agreement.
For example, you probably desired that you were right about the Visitors quote, but it's just not happening.
If you have a point in referencing this, it sure isn't apparent.
my point is just said "We would like it to come back soon"
don't be greedy I mean they said it can be but it can't too
It's not a direct NO or yes
this quote was totally apart to that Q&A actually I should've put somewhere else
because some people needed to know how nexonAM works with their stuff
it even was mentioned to another thread
I have no idea how you could take my response as "greedy" since truth isn't a finite resource.
You said, "They did say VPQ was coming back."
That statement was false, and I pointed that out.
I didn't ever say nor imply that Nexon out-rightly said it wasn't coming back because, not only is it not true, it's not necessary for your statement to be wrong.
So the proper response is to untwist your panties, say "Oh, I was mistaken", and get over it.
I'm perfectly aware of where that quote comes from, hence why I didn't ask "where did you get that?"
As for your intentions to inform, such a thread already exists with the basics of that quote already addressed (see #4 and #5).
Buy ALL the NLC pots!
The talk of VPQ return spawned when the Basil Q&A session a year back
http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=39896
It was only a possibility.
Then people got their hopes up with this:
Mob>21-30>Last Mob
but since then, nothing has happened.(other than vpq map reused for Pink Zakum)
They never tell you this story was written by monkeys with cooking gauntlets on their hands.
It's not a bad story at all.
Sure, it obviously can't be compared to Prose's, but it's still not crap. In fact, I liked it. We'll see how well the quests one was written.
That small picture also got me excited. I can't wait!
Let's hope they'll use a cutscene to show the earthquake which destroyed NLC. It would be pretty cool, even though I doubt they'll do that.
Yea becuase the rest of Maple brims with good ones? O_o
It is the same cheap stuff used in the rest of Masteria, but that is its charm. References to the classic Batman is gold and fits well with Prose's vision of Masteria as some kind of celebration to pop culture, and so does stereotypical aliens.
