Haha, no no, it's not the Resistance beginner quest.
It had something to do with Casandra and the "Willpower of the Alliance Skill". Which is not obtainable for Resistance classes because of this missing portal.
Fielllllllll (or someone else?), can you plzzzzzzzzzzzz look it up the quest text strings when you read this thread? :)

Re: [Resistance Bug] Where does this Nexonized portal / quest lead to?
According to a guy on Nexon forums, there are 2 quests involving J. If you haven't done the low level quest, you can access the map and do both quests at once.
If you have done the lower quest, you cannot re-access the map for the new quest, but a workaround is to level a new resistance char (on a different account) until it can do the low-level quest, enter the map with the new char, and then VIP teleport the old char to the new one.
If you only have one comp or account, someone else would need to help you.

I've done it.
And since people who can't are interested in the story details.....
Spoiler
J wants you to go to Orbis to have Lisa check out the medicine that Vita's been making. Turns out it's poison. So after you report this to Claudine, she has Vita detained. Then Claudine sends you to get Feather Plants from Sabitrama in Sleepywood. But he didn't have enough. Eckhart then contacts you and gives you some more. However, Claudine refuses to accept them because the Cygnus Knights "betrayed" Edelstein by not showing up when the Black Wings took over.
After this, you recieve news that Vita broke out. Claudine sends you after her/him. Turns out Vita is brainwashed by Gelimer and he was able to remotely give her/him the order to return to the Black Wings' base. He says you can have her/him after he's done with her. You go back to Claudine, Claudine says there are no other Resistance members to spare, so you're on your own.
So you go to Gelimer's lab, as he told you to, and it turns out Vita is in a holding cell..... that's rigged to explode. It was a trap. Gelimer was hoping an entire group of Resistance members would show up to rescue Vita. But it's just you. Vita then gives you a Town Return scroll s/he was holding on to and tells you to save yourself.
And then as your character teleports out, the explosion goes off.....
Yes, I am serious. A child just got killed off. In Maple Story.
After telling Claudine, she begins to question her refusal to Cygnus' offer, and then sends you back to the lab to search for something Gelimer wanted to dispose along with Vita. You find a lab journal. Claudine reads it to you, and it says that Vita is a failure, so he's going to purge him/her in the next cycle.
She sends you back to find more, and then you catch Orca chewing out Gelimer on his lack of progress. Turns out the reason Orca formed the Black Wings is to create some kind of genetically engineered super monster. (New body for the Black Mage?) And she's afraid of what Arkarium will do to her and Lotus if they're late. Then Orca notices you, and then chews Gelimer out on the lack of security. You then proceed to flee.
But yeah, remember how Gelimer's journal said he was going to kill Vita for being a failure? And now Orca is on his case for his lack of success? Remember all those other people being experimented on by Gelimer? Yeah.....
Once you report to Claudine that the leader of the Black Wings is Orchid, one of the Black Mage's generals, she calls a meeting, and then they agree that since the Black Mage and the Black Wings are related, that they should work with Cygnus. Although they are very much still bitter about how they "abandoned" Edelstein.
Maple Story sure has gotten dark since the Black Mage showed up.....
Re: [Resistance Bug] Where does this Nexonized portal / quest lead to?
Theres about 18-20+ quests you have to do for resistance to get will of alliance finally done -_-. Geez so long... (counting the pre-requisite quests too)

So Vita finally has a purpose eh? Nice, the resistance storyline actually has some depth to it now!
