I believe god exists, but I also believe "god" is also "satan", so I refuse to worship or even acknowledge it as a significant being. Beyond that single fact I'm nontheist; I don't believe in any religion at all, including atheism.
Depends on how you define religion.
I tend to define it as a system of beliefs (that is, opinions or convictions with no proof) about the supernatural (i.e., everything science doesn't have an answer to, such as how the universe came to be or what happens to our "self" after we die).
Going by this, the belief that there is no supernatural, is a religion too.

Belief is the key word. The defining principal of atheism is non-belief. Atheists just don't believe in any higher power, and that's where atheism stops. You can believe that this is all just a dream, you can believe that we sporadically appeared from nothingness, you can believe that you are God Almighty, but just so long as you don't believe in a higher power, you are an atheist.
