Religions of Southperry

Southperry is a community of video gamers, and a lot of quite nerdy people. Most are in the US. Many are obsessed with strange things such as , and , which few people outside Southperry are obsessed with or know as much about as we do. So how does all this affect the religious demographics of the forum?

The poll is set so that you cannot see who voted what as the idea of the thread is to find out the trends in Southperry as a whole, not the opinions of individuals.

- This isn't about individual opinions, I discourage you from posting your personal view. Although of course I can't stop you as I have no authority to do so and it isnt even against the rules anyway. Preferably go start another thread if your life depends on sharing your views.

If we can't post our personal opinions, it isn't much of a discussion is it? You are right to give a warning though, i don't want this to turn into a flame war. (I think that the people here are slightly more mature than in other forums i've visited though)

My personal view is a strange one: I don't have the faith to believe in a religion, but i wish i did because i don't have anything to believe in, and it makes my life feel like a rather meaningless one.

I believe in a superior being but I have no religion. I'd like to think of myself as a "secular".

I don't support organized religion but I like the idea of a creator and afterlife because it provides comfort which imo is the reason most people follow religion in the first place. That and it can be used to control the masses.
