Wow, 1:130? wtp? I remember when it was 1:4, and we complained about it going to 1:5!
My character got married from me converting my 60 mil mesos into NX via mts. That cost 20k NX.

this is nexon's response to meso selling sites obviously guys, they can't fight 1 bil for 4 bucks!
also: log in ALL the accounts!
There goes any safe way of buying and selling NX.
Are you guys expecting a rollback? Also, do you think it'll be across all the worlds or only the big three/maybe Windia?
The thing is, for the past month or two people have been using SSS as currency, so Nexon suddenly disabling trade in might hurt legitimate players a lot more than hackers.
Seriously this is like a weekly / bi-weekly thing. I am quite close to just not playing anymore. <_<
I can't even play on a daily basis without wondering if
1. My account is going to be compromised
2. I'm going to get rolledback from some exploit/crashing issue
3. My net-value in items is even going to be worth anything even a week from now
It's pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
Such a dangerous feature and now we're going to suffer the consequences soon.
Honestly, any player that use those scrolls as currency without contemplating the risks deserve to loose a crap ton of mesos.
Yea, let's call it a feature as if they were intended to be used in such a fashion. This is yet another exploit of a misguided intention from Nexon to not make one player out of thousands loose 10m buying a scroll prematurely, and not hitting 120 before they took that path out of the 4th job advancement.
Oh wow, so this is what my guildmate was talking about when he said he heard about a new meso exploit.
Duping is such a sad thing, nexon really should implement unique item IDs for all items (and delete duplicates).
Regular players seem to lose in pretty much every aspect of Maplestory. It also seems to be more rewarding to not log on at all. Is this a general pattern in all MMORPGs after some years?
The same can be said for runescape, yet people still despise that for some reason or another. And Jagex has made so many wonderful updates to the game that nobody really has any right to complain.
But the only thing most people can do now these days is to just join in on the exploiting in the smallest way possible, and hope (Yeah you really don't need to do that.) that they don't get caught. Since if you DON'T exploit, you get left in the dust with no way of recovery unless you start to exploit.
There's a bunch of f'ucked up stuff going on in the MTS right now, loads of awesome attack gear for between 15-35k NX. Only thing to stop it immediately would be to shut the MTS down, but then there'd still be loads of SSS/ATT gear floating around, waiting to be sold.
Incidentally, called this in December.
Well they were duped before so it's not a surprise they did it again...
