Memory Keeper Quest

I'm trying to go through the Time Temple quests, but I'm currently stuck at the quest for Memory Keeper. Hidden-Street says I have to talk to my 1st job adv NPC, but Mercedes does not have any job adv NPCs. I've tried both Athena, and all the NPCs in Elluel (including the fairy who gives you the medals), and nothing. Who do I talk to?

I got a quest bubble on top of my head right after I accepted the quest from the Memory Keeper.
Clicked on it, Mercedes shared some thoughts about the past, and I finished the quest without going anywhere else.
So I assume you would 'talk' to yourself in the Memory Keeper map.
