-Cheap SB available
-Cool looking mount at 4th job
-Relatively low cost to get extra WA(from bullets)
Cons :
Mobility on Battleship is awful
Slightly low hp
Bullet consumption is high, slot expansion recommended.
Post Justice -
Pros :
-Mobility
-Lesser bullet consumption
-Stable damage
-Top tier dps
-Relatively cheap skill book still
Cons :
-Low hp
-Low avoid (The only class that gets negative avoids from skills)

-Playstyle too similar to other jobs (bowmasters)
Hey guys, instead of telling saphira how terrible this thread is why don't you list pros and cons of the class(es) you play so they're up for discussion and a real list can be created.
Eh....
Fine, but I'm only going to do jobs that I personally have managed to get to at least level 130.
Paladins
Pros:
1. Massive amounts of Defense
2. Versatility against various elementally weak enemies because of Elemental Charges.
3. High chance of blocking incoming attacks.
4. 32% resistance to all elements and status effects.
5. 99% Stance after revamp.
6. Takes next to nothing from most hits, not even 1/1 attacks can do much damage.
Cons:
1. Some may find it boring to have absolutely no risk of dying during most fights.
2. No enemies (worth fighting) are weak to any elements after level 122 or so.
3. Rush, Divine Shield, and Guardian all come MUCH later than all of the newer classes get their own, [sometimes] more effective versions for less SP and without need for Mastery Books.
Cannoneers
Pros:
1. Very heavy hitting attacks, sometimes even overkill.
2. Lots of passive and active AP increasing skills, making funding much easier on one's wallet.
3. Very long reach on some of the late game attacks.
4. {OPINION} Cannons aesthetically appealing and don't get in the way of a character's clothes when the character is standing outside of battle.
Cons:
1. Most of their attacks are very slow, and can cause some to feel bored.
2. Many endgame attacks are very similar, if not completely identical, to those used by pre-revamp Corsairs.
3. Some may feel that their overkill attacks take away from the fun because of always one-shotting most enemies.
4. As a Pirate, they have no tops or bottoms throughout their entire career, which makes the Potential System favor other jobs over them.
Wild Hunters
Pros:
1. They get a mount very early on, and have the ability to use their skills while riding.
2. Many of their early skills are still useful in later job advancements (Ricochet, Oshi, Rawr, etc.).
3. They have very high HP when compared to other archers, especially early on and even more so after Feline Berserk is moved to third job and boosted to +80% HP.
4. They gain a 55% stance in third job, a luxury no other Archer has. This Stance effect may also be increased to 100% when combined with the passive 50% Stance of the White Jaira mount.
5. {OPINION} They have the ability to capture and summon monsters, making for great fun by messing with noobs at low level training grounds.
Cons:
1. Their fourth job skill tree is nearly identical to that of Bowmasters after the next revamp. This may cause some to feel bored if they already have another ranged character.
2. Sonic Roar, a fourth job mob attack, is slower and less powerful than the third job skill, Swipe.
3. As an Archer, they have no Tier 3 tops or bottoms, which makes the Potential System favor other jobs over them.
4. {GMS EXCLUSIVE} Their mounts can cause TREMENDOUS amounts of lag when mounting, dismounting, and when jumping onto another platform or rope.
Post Justice -
Pros :
-Mobility -Lesser bullet consumption
-Stable damage
-Top tier dps
-Relatively cheap skill book still
Cons :
-Low hp
-Low avoid (The only class that gets negative avoids from skills)
-Bullets is still needed although not as much
-Playstyle too similar to other jobs (bowmasters)
Wait, wait. How the heck do they use LESS boolets if their primary DPS move post-Justice is Rapid Fire?
Bowmaster: Pros:
An old class
Very popular class
Strong
Good defense Cons:
Useless arrows
Pros:
Hurricane is awesome, can pot while using
Sharp Eyes for self/party + high base crit
Spirit Link + pheonix give total damage and hp and stun/mob
Drain arrow
Soul Arrow -> don't carry arrows
High avoid and speed
Only class to use bows
Cons
Fairly weak mobbing, wind pierce can help this
Arrows can't be potentialed
Bows have a low attack multiplyer
Low hp
Hurricane lags for others
Pros:
Fast and mobile.
One of the best rushers in the game.
Fun to link skills.
Two weapons, which gives an advantage in weapon attack and potential.
Mirrored Target, while being useless as an active, grants 25% dodge chance and 60% Def and M DEF at max. If funded that is pretty significant.
Thief revamp holds very little for a DB compared to NL and Shadower, but the changes gives us maxed Venom before 4th job, a better HP% skill, Physical Training, a 30 att buff called Karma, and the old former DB exclusive ultimate Sudden Raid. Now if they just replaced Chains of Lol with something useful...
A heavily funded DB with unique/legendary potential'd gear will generaly faceroll bosses faster and harder than NLs. This of course is not taking into account illegitimate bullpomegranate equips such as enhance hacked weapons or high att VSS.
Cons
Low HP for a melee class.
Trains slightly faster than the other thieves early game, but the way MS works after BB, that aint exactly something you should pick your class based on.
The small range of Blade Fury will force you to stand on top of the mobs, if you have crappy avoid DEF and HP this will be annoying.
Weaker than the average thief unless heavily funded.
Expensive to fund because of theif popularity, and because they have 2 weapons to buy/cube.
Mirror Image/Shadow Partner nerf hit DBs the hardest beacue of how Final Cut works. A heavy blow, but no where near making the class low tier as some believes.
Most Kataras look like absolute trash. I am looking at you Blood Blossom.
"Staff Boost
Description: Doubles the attack speed of your weapon. Must have a staff equipped."
ಠ_ಠ
iirc that just means it goes up 2 steps. Still an amazing booster either way.
Tips Saphira:
"Old Class" is not a Pro, "New Class" is not a Con.
"Popular" is a Con, since your gear will be expensive compared to gear for a class that's never played. See for Reference: Blunt Weapon Anything before BB.
