Too bad the ship isn't a critical part of Phantom's gameplay, I saw the aswan UI stuff and mixed it up with the Cristal Garden for a second. My hopes for a crew management system were crushed when I came to my senses. -Tries to borrow cousin's Skies of Arcadia disc again-
Also,my DrK is GETTING THAT KYOKO HAIR IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO.
I...
I don't even.
Looks like there's going to be some treasure hunting aspect of Aswan, that Aswan UI looks like minsweeper.
Also, those inner abilities...
Some of them look pretty damn broken.
Now, about Honor. This new system works with another new system called Inner Ability. Basically, you can level up your Honor through Liberation of Aswan. You can see your current Honor level in your ability window.
At certain levels, your Inner Ability will be unlocked, there are 3 slots. These can be seen in the details section of your ability window. The top part with BP and Battle Experience has been deleted… does that mean the Honor system is a replacement to the BP system? Maybe, but you can still see your BP in the main ability window for now.Your first slot is unlocked at Honor level 2, and the other two slots are unlocked at Honor level 30.
Now for the details. Think of your Inner Ability as an item with potential. When you first unlock the slot, you’ll be given random stats. What if you don’t like those stats? You can use the new Circulator item to reset them! Currently, you can buy them from Gardin for Aswan Coins, but I think this is for testing purposes only. It might be a Cash item in the real server? There’s also different ‘rank’ Circulators, ranging from 10 (cheapest) to 6 (most expensive). I don’t know what the difference is though…
You must be wondering, what stats can it give?! Well, I made a list. It’s not very detailed (e.g. levels, different values), but I’m not very clear on the system myself and I think just knowing what it can add is enough for now. If you want a full table of values, Fiel has one here~
There are some that you may not have seen before, including stat conversion. This means that it takes a value (using a percentage) of one stat but takes that number and adds it to the other stat. For example, if I had 1% STR to DEX conversion with 500 STR and 10 DEX, I would end up with 500 STR and 15 DEX. Also, a “/” means ‘or’, and when I say ‘both static and percentage’, I mean there are two different possible Inner Abilities, one that is static and one that is a percentage.
STR/DEX/INT/LUK increases (both static and percentage)
accuracy/avoid/defense/magic defense increases (both static and percentage)
HP/MP increases(both static and percentage)
speed/jump increases
attack/magic attack increases
critical chance increase
all stats increase
attack speed increase
defense to magic defense conversion (and vice versa)
accuracy to MP conversion
avoid to HP conversion
STR to DEX conversion
DEX to STR conversion
INT to LUK conversion
LUK to DEX conversion
damage when attacking a boss increase
damage when attacking a normal monster increase
damage when attacking a Tower increase
instant death effect when attacking a Liberation monster
damage when attacking a monster inflicted with a status increase
ignore monsters’ defense and magic defense
chance to ignore a skill’s cooldown
passive skills level increase (does not affect active skills with a passive effect)
attacking skills’ mob count increase
buff duration increase
item drop rate increase
meso drop rate increase

Currently you can buy the Circulators in order to 'cube' your inner ability with the coins obtained
from the pq but as the blogger stated, it could be changed to an nx item later on. =/
What happened to releasing actual content that is not a PQ of sorts or "rebalancing?"
What's money grubbing about this..?There is nothing saying that it WILL become NX related, just it COULD. Nothing says it will. Also whats wrong with a new PQ? Plus this looks rather fun. A tad unfinished but that's okay. It looks like a lot can come from this even though it's simplistic now. My god you people are so quick to judge and shoot things down..

What? Nothing from this patch requires NX at the moment, and Abysseon's statement was only conjecture. I'd hold off on getting angry until something actually requires NX.
No, sucks to be in GMS.
Think about it for a second.
oh i've played kms, but my cons are:
- dont understand a thing other players say
- cant read the dam quests
- unable to do events certain events(aswan pq)
- the stupid midnight ban is lame
- cant fund myself, loot lagging like hell so can't loot either
- stupid koreans spam those lie detectors on me sometimes and i can't type shyt
- can't do stupid dojo cause the stupid typing thing

- not a problem, you can work around that
- Hiddenstreet or SS it and ask someone
- Like which? I'll be able to do it, just not the full time.
- It's only an annoyance on the weekend, and really, just suck it up
- I live on the east coast of the US, and have a bad connection. It's not that bad.
- I've never had a korean LD me, just automatic ones from going into a Minidungeon
- Then don't do dojo, or learn how to type Korean
On the other hand, for GMS:
- awful customer support
- awful community
- hackers around every corner
- dupers and channel crashers are king
- Many events are glitched
- the meso is worthless, almost impossible to fund yourself without buying Nx
Aswan looks pretty boring IMO, it's basically just spam the attack button until you win, then repeat tons of times to get potential. Also, good to see another thing to boost stats, it was really needed, damage in the game is OBVIOUSLY too low.
Increases Attack Target
Description: Attack multiple targets for increases.
Maximum Level: 10
Attack multiple targets for increasing # targetPlus
10: An increase in number of targets for attack skills
so... 1 extra mob per attack, aye? assuming no damage penalty...
This is possibly the most overpowered thing in existence.
This potentially doubles the damage output on ranged attackers at bosses like horntail.
Imagine being able to attack two heads at once with rapid fire or hurricane.

If I had to take a stab at it, the code would likely look for mobCount. If it exists, increase it by 1. That's far less broken and much easier to do in code.
