    Default Viper Union patch SP build.


    So...now that we have Viperisation as "not useless," I don't know what my pineappleing build is going to be.
    Since I'm 150, my plan before this newest patch was 30 DS 5 dice 10 counter 30 barrage 1 si 1 time leap and 16 guard crush.

    Now, I don't know what to do. Any ideas? 93 SP.

    No, I mean now that viperisation is useful, how would +15% damage and 70% mastery fare against the skills i intended on maxing.

    Just take the points out of guard crush and counter.

    I would probably do: (no particular order)
    * Viperisation [30/30] - Maxing this adds +23.62% more damage than level 1.
    * Dice [5/5] - An extra buff half the time is nice for 5 SP.
    * Pirate's Revenge (Counter?) [10/10] - IIRC, adds ~12% more damage for just 10 SP.
    * Speed Infusion [1/20] - Same at 1 as max, except for timer.
    * Time Leap [1/5] - Just to have it.
    * Dragon Strike [30/30] - Main training skill. Available all the time. About 29-30% stronger than Laser at max.
    * Laser / Kamehameha [1/30] - Mainly for the passive. Level 1 will charge energy 4 hits sooner on reg mobs, and 1 hit sooner on bosses. Max DS is 53% stronger than lvl 1 Laser. Could be useful if range lets you hit several more mobs than DS.
    * Barrage [15/30] - Main bossing skill.

    If I did that, would it be finish off barrage and then guard crush?

    =O That means I have to level up to 150 by the time this hits! Otherwise I won't have enough points to mess around with!

    Yeah, after that I'd do:
    1) Barrage (bossing)
    2) Guard Crush (Bossing, marginally useful at LHC)
    3) Laser (shave off another 5 hits to charge on reg, and 1 at bosses. Also reduces # of extra mobs needed to make it "better" than DS)
    4) Time Leap (4 more points to shave off 20 min CD)
    5) Speed Infusion to 10 (Longer timer means easier to coordinate buffs with party, lines up with Dice)
    6) MW to 29
    7) Hero's Will
    8) Speed Infuson (Maxed)
    9) Nautilus to 29?

    I still haven't figured out why Lucky Dice got changed to have a 180 sec Duration and 180 sec CD, but level 1 Double Lucky Dice is 184 sec Duration and 200 sec CD (lolnerf).

    That 16 seconds of silence is still okay with 10% chance to throw in an extra die.

    In practice, yes, especially since it often runs out without me noticing. Haven't done the math for "in theory".

    At level 170, I think I would go:
    Energy Blast - 30
    Fist Enrage - 30
    Viperisition - 30
    Guard Crush - 20
    Revenge - 10
    Double Dice - 5
    MW - 20
    SI - 8
    TL - 1
    Nautilus - 1
    DS - 1

    I don't mind doing 584% to 6 mobs using DS at level 1 to charge energy and then blast all the way.
    Or I could just Corkscrew+Double Spiral to charge energy.

    10 SI and max TL is way more valuable than maple warrior on top of free.

    And I see your point in getting SI to 10 (so that booster and SI duration are the same).

    Time leap is garbage now. It only helps with dice when you get pomegranatety rolls. Nothing requires a cooldown of >60 seconds nowadays.

    Since I barely turned into a Bucc/Viper as of yesterday, is it safe to assume that I should save up on my SPs til we get this patch? or is there gonna be some kind of event to give you a SP reset scroll?

    They'll give one.

    I find Time Leap quite usefull, specially when I have to recast Soul Stone. But that's me as an Evan.

    I will go with Elder Tree way.

    Considering how much i use time leap at 20 minutes, 25 minutes isn't much of a difference, and it literally saves lives and feeds africa more often than not. When i have decCO/CO it becomes 20/15 minutes...and that's pretty f'ucking sweet. It can also let you use nautilus twice if you for some reason have a ton of mobs that won't die easily on the screen. (which charges energy, by the way)

    Certainly a lot more useful than +5% base stats and - however many hundreds of millions you spent to pass the book only to find that it's a REALLY common skill anyway.

    Hate to break it to you, but the point about DS being available all the time is bullpomegranate.
    It takes maybe 5 seconds at maximum to charge energy now.
    Less, with the passive from Energy Blast.
    Energy Blast is much better than Dragon Strike.
    It's got really good damage and has a range of 560%, or 160% more than an ultimate or DS. Energy Blast is to Dragon Strike as a Putin election is to a regular election. 140% motherpineappleer
    Dragon Strike deserves 1 point so that you can charge energy.

    You don't compare ranges of any given skill by their flat percentages. A range could have the same percent and still be a completely different area.
