great guide! that list of monster card buffs will come in real handy for me too lol
Can you get the "special ability" from a card after you have collected 5? Or is it only a chance to happen with the first 5 you pick up?
Nexon America, the most morally corrupt, heartless, ignorant, inept and unaccountable company ever.
I'm looking at you GM Libra. Lift the wrongful ban on Chameleonic4
FelixTM-Don't try applying LOGIC to Nexon's creations. If it makes sense, it's definitely wrong.
Eosian-Because when you think of Nexon, you think of Blockheads.

Ahh ok, so someone who is as unlucky as me might loot all 5 without getting the special buff even once. lol

So... why is this so good?
I mean, I understand that the drop list is useful, and the lore may be interesting to some people, and they're collectible and stuff, but other than that the buffs and crap are pretty circumstantial.
Maybe I'm just missing something.
Monster book level: 6 - 168 different cards - 30 special.
Hat status: Magnificent.
Goblin Bait status: Blue King Goblin card obtained! x2.
Goggles: Possesed! I am truly a proud wearer now.
Magic tricks: I tend to become a log.
Mockery mastery status: Below average prankster.
Wow, this looks really fun, it's a shame that pretty much all the non-droprate increasing effects suck though.
Is the only way to obtain inaccessible pq cards through purchasing?
mm...
Ok, here's how it works.
All 5 cards give you the buff. But only if the monster is over level 30. That's why I said sometimes. XD
ONLY the last card gives you the Experience boost. The experience boost appears as a timer counting down right under your buffs, but it's separate. It also shows up in your quest log as "In progress" but it expires when the EXP boost runs out. I don't really get why they did it like that but that's how it is lol.

Does this mean the drop list now appears in client data?
Or is the data displayed when you open the monster book fetched from the server?
I agree with others, it's nice as something to look forward to when grinding.
I think it would be nice if they could add your personal experience with this monster to your book. (e.g., total number of this monster killed, counts of drops found, # of times it has killed you...)
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
one question..
can u trade the cards with people?
Looks pretty sweet. It's a shame SOME of these effects aren't permanent.
Strombidae ~ Level 84 Crusader, Windia. Training slowly to 90.
Paripinnate ~ Level 44 Brawler, Windia. On a break until Strombidae is level 90.
It will be nice to have a Bestiary in MS. I always enjoy flipping through those when I play RPGs =)
