So...each class is getting an elemental overhaul from what I can see.
Archers get elements of wind (Maybe wind weak and wind strong monsters would be included in a new area.)
Thieves get a branch of Darkness
Pirates get a branch of Lightning
Warriors get an element of Holy (not restricted to WK this time I bet.)
Mages seem to be getting changes to Fire and Holy classes.

But seriously, isn't there a tiny possibility that these NPCs could be for a 5th Job advancement (even though the new summon would be way too weak for that)?

No. These jobs are not an extension of any previous jobs. They are new jobs in and of themselves.

I see all 5 of the other core classes (thief, bowman, warrior, mage, and pirate) and which NPC they belong to.
So Nineheart and Queen Signus must be the NPC(s) of the new class(es)?
I read up on this a little more. The job itself is the Order of Signus or something along those lines, and each of the things you see here are the classes in which you can play as.

Anyways, this link here gives a good translation of the new patch and what happens.
Note it is from Sleepywood, so I give credits to XeCharacter. Also, it contains no extractions (only translations of the patch) but I believe it's an accurate representaion of what to expect of these five classes.
Fiel will post the extractions sooner or later.

Well, these classes are not any older class.
I guess this is what happens when the excitement of Pirates dies down.

The people in the concept art are the NPCs, Queen Signus is their leader.
Thank you, that explains it pretty well. So each npc represents a new class (sort of branching off the existing classes).
Soul Master - Holy warrior
Flame Wizard - fire and spirit? magic
Wind breaker - Wind Archer (wind is my favorite of the "elements" =D)
Night Walker - Spirit Poison
Striker - Lightning Pirate
Oh my god... this is pineappling awesome (YAY MY FIRST USE OF PINEAPPLE). I'm going to cry with enjoyment.
Except that they don't branch off from the old jobs at all. I would stop saying that, and just think of it as an individual class, which is what it is. They are an individual class, if it works like beginners, you go from Noblesse, and then you branch from that into one of those five. Don't think of them as a branch from the other classes, if they have the skills we saw from the last extension, they will be played quite differently.
This looks freaking awesome, and I already know what characters I'm deleting to make room. I can't wait to see everything when they have down exactly what they want in this class.
