For the Special Mastery books they had them for the Mage and Warrior Jump patches too. Can only assume they're given out through some event. Also lol at the level 100 pirate hat. Pretty good free alternative to the other common allstat helms with those stats compared to the lol+5all it caps at currently (level 90 hat).

Given Elite Puppet's description, it appears to work like Meso Guard or Magic Guard, where it will absorb a portion of the damage done to you. It will also attack enemies like Wild Hunter's Trap.
Illusion Staff (I must be reading this wrong) adds DEX and evade (I had it say Agility in my translation, which I should have known better). Whether the evade is a multiplier to your avoid stat, or is its own chance to dodge like Fake is unknown, but I feel it more likely to be an avoid bonus.
Well, looks like we'll all wait and see how good Elite Puppets is.
Things that stand out to me in Joe's post are:
-Double Jump for all Bowman.
-Concentrate for all Bowman now (excludes WH's).
-Dragon's Breath is MM only now; changed to 3rd job, but what impact does it bring when ranged classes have minimum range/MM has AE?
-Drain Arrow is BM only.
-BM's ABLE TO FINALLY POT WHILE USING HURRICANE.
-Silver Hawk/Golden Eagle have removed summon rock requirements. (I knew this would happen, so maybe they will finally rid summon rock requirements for Thieve's SP?)
-Spirit Link looking like a passive add-on buff for Phoenix/Frostprey.
-Arrow Rain/Eruption hitting 3 times.
-Puppet changed so that it's the auto-target for monsters (like Wild Trap).

Dragon Breath is useful to Marksmen since they have Pierce. It would be otherwise impossible to get a large cluster of monsters without any rushing skills and Blizzard freezing them.
And I think the new skill in 4th job is called Illusion Stab, which still doesn't really make sense, but makes more sense than Staff.

It's nice to see that BM's can now pot during hurricane. I'm wondering if it'll apply to WH's as well, unless it's going to be a unique attribute for BM's only.
