Not sure if I like this.
On the other hand, I quite like Fairy Tail Zero right now and I hope Zeira's truth is as dark as some of the Mangastream comments theorise.
So many dead flags in this chapter and the previous one. Fawk I understand FairyTail barely ever kills a character and thats been reason to (mostly) justified complaints here and there, I also get this could be a rgeat oportunity for Natsu's character to grow and get a justified power up like controling Dragon Force... BUT IF MASHIMA GOES FROM KILLING A CHARACTER EVERY 3 YEARS TO KILLING IGNEEL, WHO WE'VE EXPECTED SO LONG AND FROM WHOM WE STILL EXPECT SO MUCH I'M GONNA BE pineappleING PISSED (and hurt).
So much guild fodder is right there, and you wanna go for Igneel? NOPE.
Saint Seiya had a fight like that, but a thousand times better.
Erza just wins through Nakama power... or in this case, nakama "light"
Bravo for Sting saving the fight from being another power of friendship/willpower fest for something a little closer to a strategic fight.
Natsu is not Erza, so there is a glimmer of hope in expecting for a different outcome other than Natsu using Nakama power to win. For example, Mard Geer retreating with END after Makarov uses Fairy Glitter to stop all the faces doesn't sound that farfetched.
As for Mavis, since the next chapter will be named "in order to destroy my body" I assume they destroy it, causing a explosion of light which destroys all faces, which then makes the whole fact of bringing her frozen body into the manga pointless.
This why I can't ever drop FairyTail... the plot twist... every arc...
So the "in order to destroy my body" was something coming From Zeref, then what does Lumen Histoire mean really? simply reviving Mavis?

...
But if zeref wants to die, why did he pomegranate his pants and run for the hills when Acknologia arrived at Tenroujima?
That aside, it's got to be a little more than simply reviving mavis, if it's bad enough to require everyones mind being wiped. I'm interested to see what could be so bad about it.
Igneel goes ahead and dies without revealing Natsu's past or connection to Layla. :(
I don't know how I feel about last chapter. Finding out what had happened to the dragons was one of the mayor plot points of the series. We all were waiting to find out whatever was it that oblogated them all to dissappear at the same time without notice. Just "we were threating you to stop you from turning into dragons" then die and drop out of the story even faster than the time they spent fighting feels pretty dumb.
The theory that Mavis had a love relationship with Zeref keeps strengthening and if it were true it would explain why it is such a dangerous secret. It might even be possible she helped him commit some crime before repenting and founding FT.
THAT JELLAL GUY WITH THE BLUE HAIR AND TATOO HE IS AN EVIL PINEAPPLING PINEAPPLE
What chapter are you at?
The power levels are getting insane now. :)
Someone on MS comments commented that Natsu was the only one who didn't comment in one way or another about Brandish's "absurd magical level" or show any fear. Interesting. His arm, too.
How would he react to Gildarts' magical power now?
Has some as, uh... intimate(?) as that Levi-Gajeel scene happen before?
Am... am I just straight up reading pornography now?
