It's a lolable offense. Aran is definitely looking good, I might continue mine, seeing how I already have my Drk's gears.
I think he meant the 100% bonus you get damage wise when hitting monsters that are in mid air. (a case that only exists if monsters survive 1 cycle of overswing). I think thats whats meant by 1117%

Every hit on Overswing doesn't occur at the same speed, and Final Toss doesn't either. Final Toss is so fast that despite doing only 390% damage, your average DPS is only 10%/s lower than without it. Final Blow is so slow that if it's not maxed, it lowers your DPS despite doing more damage in a single hit and both your normal attack and Double Swing of Over Swing combined.
It's a faster hit that you can achieve without using Final Blow which can unpin monsters. Seriously. You guys are making it seem like it's obsolete the second you hit fourth job.
I agree with you JoeTang, but I just don't think anyone is saying that it's obsolete. Rather, it's just one of those things that people could care less about doing it when attacking. I can only speak for myself, but I find it rather annoying to have to press up to activate Final Toss and follow-through with worrying about juggling them; when I could just spam attack without having to do anything fancy with arrow keys. And move on to the next mob of monsters.
Final toss is really weird, or overswing in general.
All taken in 30 seconds:
Super snowboard + booster: 23.6666 OS, 18.75 OS + final toss -> 37866.56 %, 37020% (# OS * 1600% + # toss * 390%)
Arclglaive + no booster: 18.3333 OS, 15 OS + final toss -> 29338.28%, 29850%
Pure OS would grant faster combo charge but then with combo recharge, this may not be as important a factor anymore. Oh by the way, I was never an advocate for final blow, I think the skill is absolutely garbage, it obviously lowers your dps in all situation unless you count hitting things out of your normal range.
The new teleport skill looks extremly broken, also, speed got a yipeededoo raise and all attacks are better than using illusion.
