1. Default Post-BB HP Washing

Oddly, I couldn't find the last inverse function. Oh well, here's what I got anyway.

Only open the spoilers if you're comfortable reading code, kthx.

These should be good for HP Washing

    DecHPVal

    DecMPVal

    IncHPVal

  2. Default

Ugh, a lot of redundant ifs there. Since when do Evans get more HP than regular mages?

  3. Default

Since always. My level 140 Evan has more base HP than my level 185 Bishop.

  4. Default

I presume IncHPVal is the minimum HP gained per AP? Warrior's looks messed up <_<

  5. Default

I also found the function for min HP/MP. Coming soon...

    CUIStatChange::IsUnderMinHP

    CUIStatChange::IsUnderMinMP

  6. Default

I'm only looking at thieves and bowmen since that's what I play now, but it sure looks to me as the same. I guess the perception of increased gain post BB is due to the % increase hp skills

  7. Default

So post-BB warrior HP increase per AP is only 20? (currently it's around 50 with "Improving Max HP Increase" skill),
Or is there any unknown function that will do further calculation for warrior class? (20+30?)

  8. Default

I calculated the minimum MP values for various classes at level 200. To do this, I took the decompiled source code, put it into a C compiler, and just threw numbers at it.

    HP Cap post-BB is 99,999.

Return 18 for Pirates, and return 20 for Warriors. What.

Is this only the HP achieved from AP resetting into HP, and not the HP gained from flat-out putting an AP into HP when you use the AP from leveling up?

  10. Default

This is base HP addition not including any modifiers (+20%, +30 HP/AP point, etc.) which gets added in later.

  11. Default

But they removed the skills that add the +30HP/AP, didn't they?

    Good stuff.

Looks like Dark Knights have the same minimum MP. Atleast it's the same for 120 both before and after Big Bang.

I have a feeling they melded that into the +20% HP skill. I'll make a Warrior on KMS and find out.

    Update to that post:

I just did some testing in KMS. It seems like they went with the most obvious route: change base Warrior HP gain to where it was with the Improving Max HP Increase maxed. That is, instead of gaining 24-28(+40) HP per level, Warriors now simply gain 64-68 HP per level. The HP boosting skill is just a passive +20% HP that is applied immediately when you put points into it and does not affect base HP gain at all. It will change your total HP per level to 76.8-81.6, but because it is applied after base HP you can max that skill last without any change to your overall HP. New Warriors and Mages in KMS should have slightly more HP/MP than existing ones, if only because they don't need to spend 5 levels maxing the Improving skill. I wasn't able to test HP washing due to a lack of NX and an inability to allocate level-up AP into HP/MP, but I suspect it's only possible to increase your base HP by using AP resets. You only get 20 HP per AP reset as a Warrior, so HP washing should provide significantly smaller gains post-BB.

Short answer: It stays the same.

  17. Default

Yeah that. If you could get to 20 and put in some points into HP that'd show if it's actually 20+modifier or whatever is going on ._.

Cause it seems like it's far better to wash now before BigBang hits.

  18. Default

I'll try it tomorrow or maybe later tonight.
