    Does it have to be a SS of the mouse over the Exp Bar showing "3/34", or can it be an image that clearly shows the current Exp and a percent that can be divided to get a total, accurate to a few digits?

    All truncated, but like only three exp values are off by just 1 exp.

    Edit: Found all the formulas up to level 159. They're a tiny, tiny bit away from exact, just off by 1 experience for a few levels for some reason. Tweaking the constant to fit that level creates problems elsewhere.

    Hm, the curve is quite a bit steeper now. First and second job will be a joke, third job will be about three-four times as fast as it is right now, and fourth job starts out about three times as fast but drops off to just under twice as fast at level 199. This is based off the original exp tables - GMS was already reduced by a factor of 1.25 and I don't see them applying that again to the new tables, at least not initially, so the change won't be as drastic here.

    This is all assuming that people will be killing at about the same speed. Exp rates should actually be quite a bit lower for unfunded people who can't take full advantage of potential gear. Exp rates will probably be slightly higher than current for funded people, so funding becomes more important in terms of training speed than it is right now. New players should still be able to level much faster than they do right now and get to a decent level, but they won't be able to experience the full impact of the new curve.

    For fourth job training, I'm using exp rates for non-mage classes as the current "standard." So something like 7-12m exp/hr at O4 depending on killing speed seems reasonable, not the 15-20m/hr x 4 that you guys with access to rich Bishop training partners and stuff are used to. Being able to solo a level in a bit under 10 hours on 2x at 164 sounds totally reasonable to me, and I'm looking forward to it.

    Yeah, the exp to next level curve gets extremely steep due to the formula becoming an exponential function instead of having level be the base of the exponent in the old formula. Here's a comparison between the exp it takes to level post-BB and currently in gMS, with 160-199 values probably being off by a tiny bit, like a few hundred thousand:

    3rd job decrease: 63.11%
    4th job decrease: 37.21%

    Looks like with the removal of party 2x exp, it seems like it'd actually be even HARDER to level up now in 4th job, assuming the changes in monster hp/exp is consistent with the massive damage upgrades in regards to exp rate. Also, more trivia: post-big bang, the exp it takes to do 199 -> 200 is higher than the exp it takes to do 1 -> 153.

    I'm too cheap to afford 2x/4x EXP as well, yay me.

    Regardless of damage, 2hit would likely be optimal killing speed for training before running-for-champion. From the looks of it though, everyone needs to have their ranges tripled at around 4th job to train efficiently.

    Here are some things where we can roughly calculate from the image?
    EXP to level up = EXP (displayed in image) / ((percentage +0.04/-0.05)*100)

    This is due to round up to 2nd decimal places in percentage. Example : If the percentage from the image displayed 0.03% it means between 0.025% to 0.034%

    Wouldn't it be easier since there are a lot more high level training locations now? I've seen videos/images of people training el nath quite well - the spawn stayed the same, but the EXP went up.

    In any case, I think that training overall will become easier, and not just because of the lowered EXP req's, but because of all the new training spots available. People don't have to huddle at time temple or skeles to train. Finally a change of scenery!

    ...what training locations? I don't see anything comparable to O4 except O2/O3; in other words, Oblivion will still be crowded as hell. We'll get some of the 13xs and 14xs pushed out of Oblivion, but now that you can't spam ultimates, Skeles popularity is going to take a hit and Oblivion will be even more crowded.

    Nobody's going to train at El Nath when they can train at Oblivion. Zombies give less exp than Newties.

    Except Oblivion is deep deep down. We can only hope due to higher monster levels and due to lazy Maplers that Oblivion stays safe post Big Bang. There are way more 13x to 15x than there are 16x+ and thanks to accuracy being level based means even being several levels below will greatly annoy players when they see over half their hits miss.

    Oblivion 5 is feasible post-revamp also. Lyka has what, 4.1m HP now? Can be finished off in less than a minute with all the damage boosts. Hardly affects EXP gain at all any more.
