Oh ok, that's fairly awesome for F/Ps. Definitely not a glitch seeing as it doesn't use enemy HP any more, and is therefore no longer broken in boss fights. Wonder if this DoT is affected by Amp, then we'd really be cooking.

Just for kicks and lulz, any idea what DoT skills a F/P should have? I checked their skilltables but couldn't find Poison Mist. oO
80% DoT from Brace + 110% DoT from Fire Demon if I'm not being too gravely mistaken (sry Koreans).

Hmm, if DoT skills are proven to work on bosses, can the archmage
ultimates be used during bossing as well?
I'm asking because of the previous changes.
Anyway of figuring out the damage caused from using these type- Paralyze's damage over time greatly increased from 90 to 160.
DoT duration decreased from 10 to 5 seconds, but knockout time increased
by +1 second at all levels.
- Meteor Shower now does Damage over Time. DoT = 200, dot duration is
10 seconds, and DoT interval is 1 second.
of skills?
If the ultimates can cause enough damage during those 10
seconds it could warrant them as a possible bossing alternative
for archmages.

Meteor = 1500% * 1.5 * 1.25 * 21 casts/min = 59062.5% + 200% * 60 sec = 71062.5%/min
Paralyze = 600% * 1.5 * 1.25 * 84 casts/min = 94500% + 160% * 60 sec = 104100%/min
This is assuming speeds haven't changed, no Infinity, no critical, and DoT isn't interrupted by repeated castings like poison is right now.

I can't remember if someone said if theres 1 more additional patch after this one to polish their own mess, but I sure hope theres more crap for Pally's, dk's, F/P's and BM's.
Things like:
Soul arrow-> Attack arrow adaptability
F/p's -> Need a Skill that charges up all their magic skills
DK's -> Need a higher Hp condition for Berserk to activate
Paladins -> Change final attack in 4th job to having pally's cast spells with their charges. Ex: 10% chance to cast either fire,ice demon with fire/ice charge, chain lightning with lightning charge, and a single genesis beam for Devine charge. All would have damage dependant on w.att, but would have 50% of the original spell's damage rate.
Would be great.
So, nothing special, or weird, rather, about Poison (Poison Brace anyway), it looks like it's just your max range times the DoT % rounded down, occurs once a second, and it still leaves monsters with 1 HP.
