Sry guys, didnt know where to post this, but was wondering, for a Dual Blade, in order to maximum damage, do they equip mainly Dex equips (To equip their weapons) and thus scroll gear for dex just like sins?
Thanks!

hmmm..but it doesn't tell us what we need to maximize damage? Like for sins, u scroll for dex, so u can put all ur stats to luk whenever u level up.

Depends on your funds, yadayadayadayada.

I understand, but I was wondering in the ideal situation, u would essentially scroll for dex?
Just use a normal Dit build. Keep DEX as low as possible, etc.
If you add STR (like I did, lolo), you'll be behind a bit until like 40 with your Blades (as in, I couldn't use the 30 Blade until 33), and your damage will be worse than that of a normal Blader, but you'll look better, IMO. LUK daggers look, well, stupid with Blades. This doesn't matter if you have NX though.
Edit: DEX is usually cheaper than LUK, so yeah, scroll for DEX. I wouldn't advise using a DEXless build, since there are no Maple/special Blades.
Seems pretty simply to me. Both Luk and Dex add damage to their range for sure, but I am not sure about Str (Daggers). Since the weapons require only Dex and Luk to equip, with Luk adding the most damage, the best maximation would be to scroll for dex so that you can have a higher base Luk and thus a larger increase in damage with MW; without MW, it will not matter if you scroll for either Luk or Dex. Basically, it should be the same as NLs, as you have mentioned.
While somewhat on topic, does anyone know if Str does affect a DBs damage range? I ask this because the Dagger formula is based off of Str, but I do not know if Blades are also. Has it been determined what the formula for DBs is (and I know they actually have 2 different ranges, contrary to the Stats screen)?

From what I see on Spadow's blog, most items are dex and luk-based. Assuming Nexon haven't changed anything with the classes, Bladers would then get the best benefit from LUK, and the same boost for STR/DEX (They are worth the same). It would be tactical to scroll for either DEX or LUK then, as those are the requirement for wearing higher level daggers.
(Basically the same as iFrancisco said)

I never understood why dits use STR daggers over regular daggers. STR daggers just add like 3 more attack than the others, and ask for a ton of STR to wear, don't they? Are they really just for looks? Don't they get screwed when using MW?
I wanted to make a dit long ago but never decided cause I was too lazy to ask that, lol D:
I wanted to make str DB :(
They should have made DB:s use str daggers, atleast they would look bit more like in the poster...
So LUK will beat the crap out of STR DBs?
It would be safe to assume, wouldn't it? STR dits go for STR to be able to wear the shields and the STR daggers, so the damage lost from less points in LUK is made up in other areas. Dual Bladers use the two daggers (no shield), and there aren't any STR off-hand daggers, so what benefit would a Dual Blader get from using STR other than STR daggers?
I could be wrong though
if i want to play a pure dual blade what stat must i add???

correct me if im wrong, but dont the blades essentially trump the khanjar shields in attack? i mean i intend to make a DB, and im planning on making it a str dual. thats something i noticed. sure i dont know anything about formulas, but with str daggers having more attack than luk daggers and the blades being much stronger than khanjars, whats the downside to going str?
Blades and Daggers do NOT have their WA added together when the Dual Blade attacks. Each hit alternates between the Dagger and the Blade, and the damage is calculated according. i.e. When attacking with the Dagger, only the Dagger's WA is taken into account. Likewise for the Blade; when attacking with the Blade, only the Blade's WA is taken into account.
Blades also have a very low WA value for their level. You'll be hitting high low high low high low high low...
The downside to going STR is that since you can't equip Khanjars, and the WA of both weapons are "mutually exclusive" so to speak, your damage will be as low as a STR Bandit without a WA Shield.
