hmm, yeah, sky tower drops stuff from ranges 10-35 it seems... nest to golems dropping from 15-20... dammit :<
Someone (USMC?) pulled up a source on a foreign version of DFO and it seemed to be implying that if a dungeon drops purple or even magenta equipment of a certain lvl, it'll drop ALL equipment in the appropriate categories.

Purple team decided it was an opportune time to kill dragon. Fizz notices, and waits over the wall to assess his options.
Without having a good chance of smite-stealing dragon, Fizz decided to kill off Shyvana to buy his team some time
to reach the dragon pit. Fizz successfully assassinates Shyvana and then runs away to live. But purple team
stubbornly continues to fight dragon. Deprived of their jungler, the purple team panics and scatters when Fizz
jumps in for a second time with his teammates, securing the dragon kill and killing most of the enemy team.

There's a set range of items that a dungeon has, for example dragon nest can drop lvl 10 pink, green and purple, lvl 15 green and purple, and lvl 20 green and purple.
