Wow, you actually took time to type that out? Why not just start an announcement post and then link to your old one? I am actually quite surprised that you decided to write a new one... Or better yet, bump up your old post, oh right! You are too lazy to look through even your past posts...
Thus, the goal of private server operators is to make money using the least amount of resources possible. That means they often engage in identity theft, fraud, and other means to steal funds both from the official operator, and any users of private servers.
Aside from the part of taking things away from the official operator, how are you any different, Nexon?
These illegal servers do not have legal or any other binding obligations to keep your information secure.
Yeah well, they sure keep our information more secure than you do Nexon!
This means your information has a high risk of being shared, leaked or stolen from unofficial, unsecure servers. Not just the information you write when you register for these servers, they also track IP addresses, and are able to obtain other information just by you logging into a private server. And when you do play, you are using an unsecured, modified client which may cause you to download keyloggers, viruses, and other harmful components to your computer.
And you are any different Nexon? As a matter of fact, due to the nature of your ToU, I think your users should/would be more afraid of keyloggers and viruses from you instead.
And of course, you can lose everything you worked for if the server runs into a problem or shuts down without notice.
Yes, and we lose everything that we worked 100x as hard when we get wrongfully banned on your pathetic servers with your auto-ban system/stupid GMs and not to mention that all you give us is an auto-response message through your malfunction ticketing system!
And not to mention you miss out on the in-game events in the official MapleStory. Fishing and Spirit Week events anyone?
Really now, how many lightbulbs do I need appearing on top of my head now? What's there to miss-out on? Most of your pathetic events include the use of NX Cash to participate and those do not absolutely suck or are hardly worth the effort. Why not ask your ignored Maple community how they see the events? I guarantee a number would want the events to stop so we can have better lives, yes, if you cannot do 0 x 0 (Well ok, you cannot... I forgot), I mean that your events hinder us more than it helps us.
We strongly ask you not to compromise the integrity of the game for the millions who play MapleStory North America (this includes our global players that still connect to us) and those who play other official versions worldwide.
We strongly ask YOU not to compromise the integrity of yourselves by posting such propaganda because you are looking more and more pathetic with each post you make. Oh wait, sorry about that, you never did have any integrity to begin with! All right, let me rephrase that: We strongly ask YOU not to compromise your 1/69 Sextillion chance of improving your game and the faith your players had have in you.
In addition to warning our players about private servers, we are making sure our service is the best MapleStory experience anywhere.
Best? Gramatically incorrect, more like THE WORST MapleStory experience with the way you monitor this forsaken game. This is the lamest joke you have ever made. Best? Get real, if your game really is "best," not as many people would go to Private Servers in the first place!
Thank you for continuing to play MapleStory, and we?ll see you online!
See who online!? Not like you are ever online, please shut up!
Thank you,
No Thank You! Go eat an Apple that has Pines on it!
Yours falsely,
