I can handle Elite Mod and the abuse it can cause.
I cannot, however, handle you REMOVING a fekking DEFAULT, 2 nades per spawn became one, feature, only to make it NX-only. <_<

This is NEXON you're dealing with. Maple is their most "advanced" game, every single mechanism in the game is tied to NX at this point. If there's any lesson I learned from Maple, it's that in choosing another game you need to choose a good game developer. Even if Combat Arms is not as good a game as Maple, it being a Nexon creation you're guaranteed to be tempted to spend in it.

lol, combat arms is defiantly cash pro, but you can play maple perfectly fine without nx, i should no :P, i have nx, but its for looks, i never get gachapon, or 2x exp and have never gotten married. If you wanna see a really F2P but P2hF (Play To have Fun), go look at trickster or the "epic" that is latale.

Combat Arms used to be like Maple, in that you didn't need NX to perform better. It just helped considerably. Comparatively, like maybe 4x exp more easily since you didn't have to spend GP on a gun, but with this new item, there's a completely unfair and broken advantage that NX users get that GP users can never have. It'd be like having an NX item that gives you more skill points or ability points as opposed to SP or AP Resets.

I really think that ANY "free" game is mostly a cash cow in the end. So is La Tale and Trickster, and they're not really better, just prettier and instead of holding one button you press many. (Instead of spamming one move, you spam one combo.) All of them have a company with bad rep, so Nexon isn't the only one. Generally it all depends on how much time you've put into the game and how long it's been around. MS has been around the longest so it generally has a bigger chance at coming through.

So yeah. Up to you. Play combat arms, or just play a different game. These games all pull you in by looking cool, fun, and epic, but unlike a game from, say, Capcom, it's not as fun as the company generally tries to make it look. It's why I did not want to play Combat Arms, and gave up on Mabinogi quick after my friend got me into it.
