    Default Mario's Luminous Skill Guide.

Wanted to get some more feedback on this besides just on leafre. Some skills I'm not 100% sure should be maxed this is why I'm asking for some feedback. Also thoughts on format would be nice too. It's not completed because I'm to lazy to finish it past 125 atm. In all honesty, past that you don't really have any "core" skills TO max left, so its basically do whatever you want. So, Yeah thoughts? Also...No luminous Prefix?

Original Thread is betterish format: http://leafre.net/showthread.php?142...us-Skill-Guide

I doubt I can put over 50+ images in a single thread to match the same format so yeah, if you want picture of the skills next to the skill build go there.

This Guide/Skill Build is only to be on Leafre/SouthPerry. If you want this any place else, please ask the author's permission before posting this anywhere else.

    Introduction

The fifth and final Hero has come! He is a light/dark skill based magician with a primary stat of INT, and the first magician with no required secondary stat (Auto assign all goes into INT!). Not finished, will be continued once more info is out.

    The Light and Dark System

    This system involves this UI.

The more you use dark skills, the more the light consumes over the dark. Once you reach the point where light or dark is full you have to use the total opposite. Your skills get more damage when they are used correctly (Opposite of what the orb says). If you try to use dark skills while the orb is dark, you will have less damage and hits with your dark skills. Same for light.

    When you reach this.

You are at an equal "State". All your equilibrium skills will have no cooldown. These skills are Death Scythe and Absolute kill. For a more detailed explanation on this system check here http://leafre.net/showthread.php?136...inous-the-Hero

    Credits
@Ouchiess for helping with format a little bit.
@Imaginal for the awesome gfx. As always, thanks.
@maplefreak26 for letting me use his account for kmst for like over a year and a half now. (still don't get how you get in every damn term).

    Update Log
V.01~ Added 1st job, No real format, Hopefully will finish this before luminous comes around. -mario
V.02~ Added some titles, a chart and a bit of an introduction. -andy
V.03~ Removed chart, it was ugly as pineapple and took too much space up, kept old build and fixed it up a bit by adding +X. -andy
V.04~ Added separator, doesn't look bad where I placed it.-andy.
v.05~ Testing Placement of the luminous banner, due to the yugioh event not adding 2nd job till after it's done. ~mario
v.06~ Added 2nd and 3rd job with reasonings. Shall I go for 4th job tonight also? Lol. After that Gotta add a Quick explanation, some pictures, (possibly videos), and ...Credits thats about it.~ Mario
v.07~ Added 4th job, credits, and short explanation system on dark vs light. 4th job isn't finished and only goes to 125 but honestly by then you basically just put in whatever you want. Will add beginner skills/more on 4th/reasoning for 4th later. They aren't THAT important so i'm pushing them back. ~mario
v.08~Took out skill brackets since southperry doesn't have them. Also doubt I can add 150+ images into this thread so I'm leaving it like this. ~mario
v.09~ Bumped up booster in 2nd job. 60 seconds of booster is enough imo for early on. Might bump extend Mana up a bit if I find more reasoning to. Crescendo is staying a bit later for now. ~mario.

    Enjoy~.

Why do you need Ordinary Magic Guard before Extend Mana?
Why does anyone delay booster in any build? Do people not realise that Booster is a 1.125x increase in DPS? And more importantly, it lets you train faster because you attack faster?

From what I'm told, Dark Crescendo does not expire unless you stop attacking. Unless they've changed this, one point is basically a constant 10% increase in damage.

Spelling errors are spelling errors. Everyone makes mistakes. I rather survival than more mana. buffs/masterys are more important and are a must before you even think about more mana. Luminous skills can live without booster for majority of the time you level, Booster is barely even noticeable when you get it. This is why you can live without it to later,I might push it back but I see nothing that is worth pushing back for it.I would have made the build put +3 atleast in booster early on but I thought that would look awkward. Why would Dark crescendo expire if you stop attacking? Its a constant buff, atleast in the recent kmst patch it is. Also, I think you don't know the skill. Its 1% increase up to 30 times. This is the exact reason why I pushed it back a bit and took masterys over it.

Edit: on second thought, I'll move up booster but don't know what to push back yet.

Im guessing they count as Two Handed Weapon no? Just for confirmation to know what scrolls to pick.

  7. Default Re: Mario's Luminous Skill Guide.

I've been told that every time it activates, it refreshes the entire buff's duration, so it would not expire unless you stopped attacking for 60 seconds. Therefore, one point is a 10% increase in damage since level 1 stacks 10 times.

    Yes.

I'll have to look into that in a sec. In KMST it didn't work like that or I just didn't notice it. Once I find out I'll move it up a spot.

They are held in one hand and don't use any two handed animations from what I've seen.

You can't equip a shield while holding one. i'll try to get on KMST in the next hour or 2 to double check.

You can't equip a shield with Phantoms either. Are you going to say it's two handed?

It may be one handed in sight, but for scrolling purposes it could be considered as two handed. (You know its nexon after all)

According to Fiel and the extractions Canes are indeed one handed, but Dual Staves its part of a 3rd id that isn't Two or One Handed.

You don't really need Magic Guard in 1st job. That's just a waste of pots. It doesn't hurt to put off maxing Magic Guard for later.

If you have Character Card Sets it becomes even more worthless getting survival early on. (Of course you will need it in the future)

Hmm, I don't see why you wouldn't. Also, potions are down right cheap especially for 1st job. You won't be chugging potions as you think.

Just confirmed they are 1h. Sorry for the mixup.

Update to the build, bumping booster to around 3x~4x. 4th job is stay as it is for now.
