The Jackal in the Mech Pilot Outfit Box

Does anyone know what The Jackal can be equipped over?

I am thinking to buy it for my cannon but I am not sure if it could equip over it

It can only cover guns I believe.

Also, as far as i'm aware, barely any NX covers can cover Cannons, with the exception of the Boombox and the Angry Cat (or whatever it's called)
