Nope, the 11th.
Apparently that was posted on their facebook.
First time we get an "update highlights" post two weeks before the actual patch, but I guess they need a lot of time to try building up hype and maybe getting those 6000 retweets they wanted. Currently I think it's more like 600, and only a few days left. Guess that particular campaign backfired nicely.
I doubt even Nexon is that stupid.
I think they got most of the retweets they did get, in the first day. Their most loyal followers. After that, it's dwindled a lot. Extending won't do a thing.
I think someone there said, "We got [some big number] people to 'share' our V Rewards pages on Twitter, so surely we can get 6k to retweet Re:ZERO", not realizing that:
(a) Many Maplers have multiple accounts, and did the V Share thing on all of them (but they don't have multiple Twitter accounts).
(b) The V Share thing gave you credit just for clicking the "share" button. You didn't actually have to have a Twitter account, much less tweet anything.
(c) The V Share rewards were a lot more attractive.
But of course their biggest mistake, compared to past Nexon "help us hit this goal" events, is that they let someone else be the scorekeeper, and the results are public. They can't pretend the goal was reached when anyone can go on Twitter and see the actual retweet counts. And while I suppose they could bot up a few thousands Twitter accounts to buff up the numbers, I assume Twitter has defenses to prevent that sort of thing (otherwise companies could make themselves "trend" at will).
Bottom line, as I said, it backfired badly.
My guess is that they'll just act like the whole thing never happened.
