Android expressions?

Is it normal for them to randomly adopt an expression when you CC? The one I got from the event keeps doing that, and it's mildly weirding me out.

Mine (deluxe) either does F2 (big smile) or a one-eye-open-other-eye-shut expression when I cc. I though that was normal.
