Rhinne's Blessing says it buffs 15% stat. That's just like MW, so I assumed it works the same.
When I cast it, I go from 2423 to 2686 str = +263.
This is 15% of 1753. Which with 793 base str means +121% str equips.
I can't figure out what they are.
What I've got down is
xenon link: 10%
hat: 10%
earring: 13%
cape: 11%
eye acc: 5%
Lapis: 15%
Lazuli: 15%
glove: 14%
overall: 3%
shoe: 14%
belt: 10%
pendant: 3%
= 123%
Nothing being displayed wrong seems to add up to that missing 2%.
Nebulites are 3x 2%, 4x 1% str.
Potentials are 5 9% str, 6 6% str, 1 4% str, 4 3% str, 2 3% all.
Is 3% all secretly adding 2%? Well, I can take off my shoes and find out...
Without my 14% (9str+3all+2nebulite) shoe,
2498 with Rhinne, 2251 without. +247, so 1646-1647 str = 107.6-ish% (short of 108%)
Actual amount should be 109% exactly so wat.
Without my 14% (9str+3all+2nebulite) glove, or the shoe
2328 with Rhinne, 2098 without. +230, so 1533 str = 93.3-ish%
At least this time it's close to the 94% it should be...
Without the glove, but with the shoe this time,
2514 with Rhinne, 2268 without. +246, so 1641 str = 107%
Wait... that's 2 equips that both add 14% str, but one makes Rhinne add 246 and the other makes it add 247 str? waaaat.
May as well try out another pair of near-identical equips and see what happens.
All except 10% str hat:
2535 with Rhinne, 2284 without. +251, so 1673 str = 111%
All except 10% str belt:
2538 with Rhinne, 2286 without. +252, so 1680 str = 112%
I feel like I'm being made a fool of by Maple's rounding...
So, a rigorous study of my stats. The 123% str is established above. So is 793 base str and 2686 total with Rhinne (2423 without)
I think I have +87 non-potential str (40 Kaiser link, 20 Xenon link, 7 Resistance set, 20 inner ability).
Should be (793[*1.15]+x)*2.23 + 87 = 2686 (or 2423 deleting the 1.15)
Which makes x = 254 or so.
(793+254)*2.23+87 = 2421.81
(793+255)*2.23+87 = 2424.04
Um, so maybe one of those things I thought was non-potential does have potential? Start with the smallest, +7 resistance set.
(793+x2)*2.23+80 = 2423
x2 = 257.7
(793+257)*2.23+80 = 2421.5
(793+258)*2.23+80 = 2423.73
At least it got that part right.
(793*1.15+258)*2.23+80 = 2686.87
Cool, it got that right too...
Take off the shoes and it's
(793+246)*2.09+80 = 2251.51, matches up.
(793*1.15+246)*2.09+80 = 2498.13, also matches up.
So, um... what the hell, Nexon? Is the +7 resistance set getting potential multipliers but Kaiser, Xenon, and Inner Abilities aren't?
I suppose I could try to account for all my +str too, and make sure 258 is correct.
Resolution Time: +30 str
Pirate Blessing: +25 str
hat: +16 str
codex: +1 str
nose: +18 str
earring: +10 str
shoulder: +8 str
cape: +10 str
face: +10 str
Lapis/Lazuli: +35 str (each? doubtful since their w.atk only counts once)
glove: +4 str
overall: +5 str
rings: +30 str
shoe: +12 str
belt: +15 str
pendant: +4 str
= 233 without the second weapon.
+7 from the Resistance set makes it 240, short of 258. (thus giving 2383, way short)
+20 from eg. Xenon makes it 253, which produces a total 2399 (24 short)
+40 from eg. Kaiser makes it 273, which produces a total 2424 (1 high)
+39 from some pineappleery makes it 272, which produces a total 2422.95 (1 low)
Kinda going round in circles with stuff that just doesn't make sense
I also realized that I don't have Hayato's link skill on my Zero so... adding that +10 str made it 2446 total str.
(793+243+x)*2.23+(87-x) = 2446...
Wolfram Alpha kindly says it's 39.6
(793+283)*2.23+47 = 2446.48. So at least in this case assuming it's a +40 (either Kaiser or IA + Xenon) works.
Cast Rhinne's blessing to be sure, get 2709.
(911+283)*2.23+47 = 2709.62. Phew.
Maybe something's getting rounded separately and losing me 0.48 of a str or less?
eg. if Kaiser's card does get the bonus but rounds on its own,
(793+233)*2.23+47+40*2.23 = 2287.98 + 47 + 89.2 = 2423 (if rounded separately)
When I do drop Kaiser's card (replaced with my Hero's +4% wdef just to keep sets the same) I end up with 2406 str.
When I switch the Resistance set out (moved Xenon and Kaiser around; both still in sets) I have 2430 str. So there's a lead... the 7 str from that is in fact being buffed up to 16 str by my %str eqs.
When I have Resistance set *and* Xenon gone (can't do just Xenon) I have 2410 str. So Xenon's definitely non-potential str. Arg.
Anyway I have that one tidbit of useful data for my other thread.
