  1. Default Recording and editing programs for Maple?

I've noticed that many of you Southperrians have Youtube accounts dedicated to Maple/whatever. I just have a couple questions for you guys:

    1) What recording program do you guys use?
    2) What editing tool?

-Right now I've got Camstudio and Windows Movie Maker, but it seems like the recording quality with CamStudio is less than stellar.
-If I try to record in full screen, all I get is a black screen when I play back the recording; the hotkey to start and stop work, but only the black screen is recorded. I don't want to record in window mode because then the title bar and the edges of the window appear.

    1. Fraps full version. Can't go wrong with Fraps.
    2. Sony Vegas Pro 12.

I tried Bandicam before, but I didn't like it at all.

    Fraps is incredible.
Sony Vegas is hard to use at first but once you get it, you get it.

Does the free version of Fraps still have the 30 second maximum limit and watermark?

  5. Default Re: Recording and editing programs for Maple?

    Yes.

  6. Default Re: Recording and editing programs for Maple?

I get better quality when I record with Bandicam.
Bandicam also puts out much, much smaller file sizes and doesn't cut a single clip into multiple clips, unlike Fraps.

i use bandicam, my computer can't take the MASSIVE weight that fraps produces. the windows movie maker for editing (i simply add music to my videos, so yeah) and mediacoder x64 for downgrading the weight of the video if it's too large.

    Balls.

And unless I'm looking at the wrong product, Sony Vegas Pro 12 is $450.

There are other ways to get it that I won't mention or endorse.
Fraps doesn't split the clip into multiple files o-O you must be using an older version.
