Cube Revamp

UTC: Available February 8th (after maintenance)

• As we mentioned in our Maple Memo, MapleStory is retiring the current set of Cubes, and releasing a new slate of Cubes, utilizing a new Cube Fragment system, and allowing some Cubes to have a chance for double rank-ups.

  • Bonus Mystical Cubes: Obtained from bosses only in the Regular World. Can be used on items up to Rare tier.
  • Hard Cubes: Obtained from boss and elite monsters, harvesting, crafting in Regular World, Monster Collection, Pollo & Fritto, Monster Park, and the Reboot World General Store. Can be used on Rare to Unique items. There is a chance of double rank-up if used on Rare items.
  • Solid Cubes: Obtained from boss and elite monsters, harvesting, crafting in Regular World, Monster Collection, Pollo & Fritto, and Monster Park. Can be used on Rare to Legendary items. There is a chance of double rank-up if used on Rare items.
  • Glowing Cubes: Can be purchased from Cash Shop. (Regular World 1200NX/per, Reboot World 12,000,000 Meso/per) Can be used on Rare to Legendary items, with a chance for a double rank-up.
  • Bright Cubes: Can be purchased from Cash Shop. (Regular World 2200NX/per, Reboot World 22,000,000 Meso/per) Can be used on Rare to Legendary items, with a chance for double rank-up and the option to choose before or after Potential lines.
  • Bonus Glowing Cubes: Can be purchased from Cash Shop. (Regular World 2400NX/per) Can be used on Rare to Legendary items, with a chance for double rank-up.
  • Bonus Bright Cubes: Can be purchased from Cash Shop event sales. Can be used on Rare to Legendary items, with a chance for double rank-up and the option to choose before or after Potential lines.
  • Karma Solid Cubes: Obtained through in-game events. Can be used on Rare to Legendary untradeable items.
  • Karma Hard Cubes: Obtained through in-game events. Can be used on Rare to Unique untradeable items.
  • Karma Bonus Mystical Cubes: Obtained through in-game events. Can be used on Rare untradeable items.
• Previous cubes can’t be used after the patch, will be deleted during the patch, and the same number of new cubes as those deleted will be distributed. (Cubes obtained from Marvel Machine will also be changed to new cubes.)
• There will also be adjustments to how the Cube Fragment system works. The new Cubes will give new Cube Fragments when used.
• You will get Cube Fragment upon using the Glowing Cube, Cube Fragment (x2) upon using the Bright Cube, Cube Fragment (x2) upon using the Bonus Glowing Cube, and Cube Fragment (x3) upon using the Bonus Bright Cube.
• These Fragments can be exchanged for a variety of items listed below:
  
  • Advanced Potential Scroll: 5 Cube Fragments
  • Special Potential Scroll: 10 Cube Fragments
  • Bonus Potential Scroll 70\%: 15 Cube Fragments
  • Perfect Potential Stamp: 30 Cube Fragments
  • Perfect Bonus Potential Stamp: 50 Cube Fragments
  • Special Bonus Potential Stamp: 100 Cube Fragments
  • Epic Potential Scroll 80\%: 100 Cube Fragments
• Existing Cube Fragments – including Red Cube Fragments, Black Cube Fragments, Bonus Potential Cube Fragments, and White Cube Fragments – that are obtained prior to this patch will be usable until March 22 at 12:00 AM UTC, 2023.
• A Meso refund will be processed for players who requested refunds for their permanent Red/Black Cubes in Reboot World based on the number of total deleted cubes.

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Participation record shared by worlds per account.

• The future of Zipangu is threatened, and Asia reaches out to find a hero who can help. Will you answer the call?
• The "Through the Gate to the Future" quest starts through a lightbulb above the player's head and then afterwards the quests start appearing in the star event notifier.
• Complete each chapter for various rewards.
• After completing chapter 3, you will be able to challenge the boss Aufheben.
• You can challenge Aufheben with a party of 1-6 players composed of Lv. 101+ characters that have also completed chapter 3 (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).
• You can move to the boss entry map via the boss map entry quest in the event notifier.

• Start the “[Super Haste] Hasty Hunting! Super Haste!” quest via the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to begin the daily six missions.
  
  • Daily Mission 1: Defeat 999 Enemies Near Your Level (20 levels below and 20 levels above)
  • Daily Mission 2: Defeat 1,999 Enemies Near Your Level (20 levels below and 20 levels above)
  • Daily Mission 3: Defeat 10 Elite Monsters/Champions
  • Daily Mission 4: Clear Pollo and Fritto 2 Times (includes Esfetia)
  • Daily Mission 5: Clear Inferno Wolf Once
  • Daily Mission 6: Activate 3 Runes
• Daily missions can be completed only once a day per world.
• Daily missions can be completed in any order.
• Daily mission completion status is shared with all characters within the world.
• Receive 50 Haste Feathers for every daily mission completed for a total of 300 daily if all 6 daily missions are completed.

IGNITION BURNING EVENTS

Burning World Leap

UTC: February 8th (after maintenance) – February 23rd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Your Burning World journey ends here and it’s time to find yourself a new home!
• Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
• Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
• You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
• Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
• You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
• You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
  
  • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
  • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
• Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
  
  • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
• Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
• Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
• Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
• Ignition Coin Shop and Flare Coin Shop item quantity limits will follow the limit of the world that the character leaps to.
• Ignition Coins will be transferred with the World Leap, but Flare Coins will not be transferred so remember to use all your Flare Coins before the start of the World Leap period!
• Remember to claim all the Ignition Flame Festival rewards through the Flame Festival UI before leaping if you participated in the event on Burning World.

• As we mentioned in our Maple Memo, MapleStory is retiring the current set of Cubes, and releasing a new slate of Cubes, utilizing a new Cube Fragment system, and allowing some Cubes to have a chance for double rank-ups.

• Previous cubes can’t be used after the patch, will be deleted during the patch, and the same number of new cubes as those deleted will be distributed. (Cubes obtained from Marvel Machine will also be changed to new cubes.)
• There will also be adjustments to how the Cube Fragment system works. The new Cubes will give new Cube Fragments when used.
• You will get Cube Fragment upon using the Glowing Cube, Cube Fragment (x2) upon using the Bright Cube, Cube Fragment (x2) upon using the Bonus Glowing Cube, and Cube Fragment (x3) upon using the Bonus Bright Cube.
• These Fragments can be exchanged for a variety of items listed below:

• The future of Zipangu is threatened, and Asia reaches out to find a hero who can help. Will you answer the call?

• After completing chapter 3, you will be able to challenge the boss Aufheben.

IGNITION BURNING EVENTS

Burning World Leap

UTC: February 8th (after maintenance) – February 23rd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Your Burning World journey ends here and it’s time to find yourself a new home!
• Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
• Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
• You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
• Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
• You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
• You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
  
  • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
  • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
• Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
  
  • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
• Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
• Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
• Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
• Ignition Coin Shop and Flare Coin Shop item quantity limits will follow the limit of the world that the character leaps to.
• Ignition Coins will be transferred with the World Leap, but Flare Coins will not be transferred so remember to use all your Flare Coins before the start of the World Leap period!
• Remember to claim all the Ignition Flame Festival rewards through the Flame Festival UI before leaping if you participated in the event on Burning World.

• There will also be adjustments to how the Cube Fragment system works. The new Cubes will give new Cube Fragments when used.

IGNITION BURNING EVENTS

Burning World Leap

UTC: February 8th (after maintenance) – February 23rd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Your Burning World journey ends here and it’s time to find yourself a new home!
• Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
• Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
• You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
• Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
• You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
• You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
  
  • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
  • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
• Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
  
  • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
• Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
• Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
• Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
• Ignition Coin Shop and Flare Coin Shop item quantity limits will follow the limit of the world that the character leaps to.
• Ignition Coins will be transferred with the World Leap, but Flare Coins will not be transferred so remember to use all your Flare Coins before the start of the World Leap period!
• Remember to claim all the Ignition Flame Festival rewards through the Flame Festival UI before leaping if you participated in the event on Burning World.

IGNITION BURNING EVENTS

Burning World Leap

UTC: February 8th (after maintenance) – February 23rd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Your Burning World journey ends here and it’s time to find yourself a new home!
• Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
• Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
• You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
• Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
• You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
• You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
  
  • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
  • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
• Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
  
  • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
• Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
• Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
• Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
• Ignition Coin Shop and Flare Coin Shop item quantity limits will follow the limit of the world that the character leaps to.
• Ignition Coins will be transferred with the World Leap, but Flare Coins will not be transferred so remember to use all your Flare Coins before the start of the World Leap period!
• Remember to claim all the Ignition Flame Festival rewards through the Flame Festival UI before leaping if you participated in the event on Burning World.
