This is a really simple question that I kinda wondered:
When Phantom steals an AM's attacking skill, is it considered Magic?
Meaning, if a boss uses Super WDEF, can you switch to a mage skill to do damage? Or is it still considered physical?

magic.
Yup, it counts as magic. I've seen a video where a Phantom was soloing Arkarium, and when the monks were summoned, he switched to Chain Lightning to kill them.
Phantom really is the jack of all trades, is he?
So it counts as Magic damage, but it still works off the physical damage numbers?
Or am I missing something here?
Should make it all physical then, seems like a stupid advantage that no other class should have (when it comes to soloing, because big boss squads will have warriors for magic crash). But then again, can phantom steal abilities that is just purely for debuffing and then change over again? Like magic crash, threaten, blinding darknessand so on? If yes then op class is op.
Edit: forgot that they can only steal adventurer skills.
What I mean is:
1. If they steal magic crash and use it, can they change ability while it being on cooldown?
2. If yes, will the cooldown start ticking if they change skill?
Edit: If yes on both: You might aswell just steal res from bishop (if you can) and keep it on one of your 4th job tab during bossing when its needed ofc.

Because if they wont allow you to selfbuff yourself with 4 stolen buffs, why should you be able to debuff the enemy with more than one per job tab? I know it helps everyone around you but it also helps your solo ability way more than others, you can steal skills that are situational and make a different job "less needed" which is why I dislike this job. The only thing I like about this, is that I dont have to run 2-3 comps if Im leveling a new char, I can get mw, se, hs, haste and hb from one job, instead of 4.
The amount of complaining about "Phantom ruining every job" is pointless. Bishops will still be used because most Phantoms don't want to be HS mules either. There are better skills to steal.
