Steam related: There are now Maplestory cards to collect
Any idea when this started happening? About how long does it take to get one card? Also does this mean future deals for Steam users and Maple?
Re: Steam related: There are now Maplestory cards to collect
The badge window doesn't have a MapleStory entry, the game's Store page doesn't list trading cards..
Confirming it's real though:

EDIT: Okay, the badge entry is there... but no more card drops ????????????????? OH RIGHT f2p games require you to spend money

Maplestory and all DLC 75% off!
Wouldn't be surprised though.

IIRC all F2P games requires you to spend at least $10.00 to get one card.

If you spent money on Steam for MapleStory before the card set was released, you get 3 free card drops.

Now if only they added achievements.

Integrating the medals for achievements would be a fun concept.
For example, You get the pick up-artist medal, you get the corresponding achievement describing it.

Does that mean you can charge NX through Steam?

You've been able to for a long time now. It uses your Steam Balance.
Re: Steam related: There are now Maplestory cards to collect
Fair warning, there have been a few reports of people charging NX through Steam, having funds deducted, and then Nexon going "You charged NX? What NX?" even when you send them Steam transaction logs.

With MapleStory it is, but with other Steam games it's great actually.
Since you can sell your drops/rewards in the Steam Market and then spend that same money on the game it's like free cards. Then again since you can't sell anything (besides the cards) of Maple in SteamMarket yeah... bad deal. Except for those whale players

idunno. I guess the problem I'm facing is that you're spending nine dollars to sell something for one dollar.
then again that's technically a 10% return.
but woe to anyone who wants to craft the badge

You could always just buy the cards directly if you solely wanted the badge or whatever, especially since the cards are dirt cheap. Otherwise there's no reason to spend $10 just to get a card that's more than likely only going to sell for $0.50.

It showed up about a week later randomly
But I've charged hundreds through steam in the past before that and had no problems, so it's generally safe.
Never charging again tho.

Oh, now I see. I was basing this off of old information. I see the cards are really plummeting in price now.
