Apparently 4 first episodes leaked online, but lets only discuss about the latest officially aired one.

Sup just reviving this thread to say this was perhaps the worst Game of Thrones episode I have seen in my entire life. Seriously, apart from the walk of shame, this episode had nothing good in it. They butchered
Spoiler
Jon Snow's death scene
, Dorne was a complete disaster until the end, don't even get me started on the battle of Winterfell. I won't watch next season of this weird fanfiction before the Winds of Winter come out, or I might commit seppuku before getting to read it.

Spoiler
Jon isn't dead if theories about his real parents are true.

Spoiler
He is obviously getting revived next book by Melisandre/warging into ghost/both. I am even more disgusted by the show because Kit Harrington said in an interview he isn't coming back next season. Obviously this could just be a big lie for the surprise effect, but I don't get the decision-making of these incompetent writers.

To say you're 'disgusted' is pretty extreme to me.
It could be within his contract to not say if he will be coming back. Obviously if he said he was going to be in season 6, it would be a dead giveaway that Melisandre brought him back.
Honestly, for pineapples sake you people take this show way too seriously.

Re: Rape in GoT and ASOIAF
Had a thread for season 5 but it pretty much died cause no1 posted anything :f3: I guess it was just the fact that nothing much happened in the first half of this season.
Ep10
I kinda liked this episode except that they just put too many things in the finale for the sake of creating unneeded cliffhangers. I personally don't care that the winterfell battle was offscreen. We've had some epic battles this season already and... maybe it's because I haven't read the books but honestly I prefer skipping some sword fighting scenes to give room for important plot development.
But Jons death scene just made me go... man I was even spoiled about it by some arsehole using 'jonsnowisdead' as their online nick -_- But I didn't believe it. I thought he could've died against the white walkers but no, he's stabbed in the back by his dumbasfk nights watch fellas. Hope the white walkers will kill everyone at that camp, whether Snow is revived somehow or not.

Honestly, ASoIAF is one of my favorite works of art, and I do not think I am overreacting by not wanting it to become a badly-written fanfiction that has nothing to do with the source material. That, and many things that happened this season actually did not happen yet in the books and I do not want them to happen AT ALL...

Maybe you should stop watching it then.
That being said, see you next season.

Season 5 Spoilers
The finale was good, but I feel like they did way too many cliffhangers as well. Far too many characters had, "Are they dead or not?!" scene ends for no reason what so ever. We've never needed cliffhangers like this before, I don't get why they felt the need to make every plotline a cliffhanger this season. In previous seasons, it was the big crazy happenings on Episode 9, with the Epilogue on Episode 10 that set up the next season. This season, only a few important things happened on Episode 9, and then everything just ends abruptly on Episode 10.
I can understand some of the hate for the writers this season, though.
Barristan Selmy died for no reason what so ever. His fight scene was bad, and he should have never wandered into that slaughter. It didn't make sense to me. Additionally, the Unsullied practically acted like untrained warriors in that entire scene, the only one who could fight in them was Grey Worm and he still got pineappleed up.
Sansa's entire plotline this season was worthless. She had, once again, no character development at all. What's the point of her plot at this point? Is she going to suddenly massively evolve in the next two seasons? It doesn't make sense to me. So far she's not changed what so ever since she was introduced. The only thing her plot did was give Theon a redemption ark, and honestly it wasn't worth all the screen time it got. Then their jump off the castle wall was pretty ambiguous when it didn't need to be at all.
Jon's end season "death" makes sense and is set up perfectly. Melissandre will revive him, but since he died he's officially released from his Night's Watch vows. He's obviously not dead, every major death in the series before now has had significant meaning in one way or another (whether the character had clearly been headed that way all along like Robb, or something else), but Jon's death has no point what so ever. Melissandre's convenient appearance at the end of the season sets up her revival of him too easily, and getting outside of the Night's Watch vows is exactly what he needs to do to be able to save everyone from the White Walkers (being chained to the Wall, essentially, doesn't help him at all). I'm pretty sure his contract deal for S6+7 was already revealed like last year, so his "interview" was all lies to hide up his cliffhanger to ensure it's kept as a surprise.
Cersei's storyline was nice, but I don't like how Loras and Margery were completely abandoned half way through the season. The writers just forgot they existed. Additionally, I dislike how Cersei's ending was so long when it didn't need to be, when the Season Finale had so much to show.
I also hate how they did an off screen "death" for Stannis. Something tells me he's not dead and is going to be saved by someone from Brienne at the last second, simply because there was no reason NOT to show his death on screen, especially considering the Arya scene shortly before.
Speaking of Arya, probably the only plot I really enjoyed this season. Looking forward to her development next season for sure.
Overall, I can definitely understand the dislike for this season. The show was really, really good prior to now. I feel like the writers knowing the ending allowed them to just do whatever the pineapple they feel like as long as the end result is the same. Before, they had to follow the book as closely as they could because every detail could matter...but now that they know the ending, the middle can be whatever they want. And it clearly shows.
