• The quest 'Catching the Water Thief Monster' can now be properly completed after dropping 10 water bottles in front of the water tank.
• The Maple Treasure Fist secondary weapon for the Jett class will now have the correct stats: STR+8, DEX+8, Weapon ATT+5.
• The NPC Momma Bellflower will now correctly give out a Bellflower Pot when accepting the quest 'The Lost Bellflower Pot'.
• When speaking to NPC Clara, the dialogue for the quest 'A Monster of a Gift' will now display the correct end date of 5/31/2016.
• A text issue in the quest 'A Monster of a Gift' will be fixed.

Social channels such as Facebook and Twitter and externally hosted platforms like the Dirty Bomb forums will be unaffected by this maintenance.

We do not carry out these system-wide downtimes regularly, but in this instance we feel it is necessary to make much-needed infrastructure improvements to ensure the best possible service across all our games and services.

I'm not sure if it's just me but since the recent patch the lag in-game has been ridiculous. I hope this gets looked at :/

It's not just you.
The towns are lagging because of Maple Admin and Cassandra.
The training areas are probably lagging because of the sudden portals (not sure, but areas too far below your level to spawn them, don't lag nearly as bad).

Since it's game-related and not something in their infrastructure, this maintenance won't do anything for it, I'm afraid.

Now if they could only slap the pair of petulant NPCs with a little thinner code. But that would require another patch which I would love to see them put out.

Given that Nexon is possibly doing that due to a screw up with Jett's anniversary secondary having had stats more fit for a mage instead of a pirate.

I forgot how dumb the average maplers was, because the maintenance is 8 hours long people think its an update.
