Theoretically, if some point in the near future (within the next few months) that I would cone to visit Houston, TX because of a family invitation... where are some good placea to go to to see or eat?
And probably, who'd likely want to see me? :f3:

The Galleria is pretty awesome. You might want to check that out.
If you are up for a 2 1/2 hour drive, you can visit and be in the audience of the ACA television show, Atheist experience :f2:.
Food: Thelma's Barbeque, Niko Niko's, Ruggles Green, Lee's Sandwiches, Banana Leaf, Don Cafe, Barnaby's Cafe, Mmm...Cupcake, Crave Cupcakes, Juice Box, Tapioca House. Some of these are not in the best neighborhoods but they're good imo. Mmm...Cupcake is actually a cupcake truck so if you chase it down they always post on Twitter where they are. Likewise, you might run into taco trucks around the Galleria area. For Thelma's, don't talk on your phone and follow all her rules or she won't serve you.
Other than the Galleria, shopping at Rice Village is nice too.
The Houston Museum was nifty too.
There's also the NASA station but I've never been there. That surrounding area is really nice for meteor shower watching though. Very isolated from the city.
