What's the Leeching Formula?
Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I havn't kept up with all the formula changes and such that GMS has been making.
I've been told that at level 166 I won't be able to EXP from stronghold monsters unless I hit them since they're level 170.
Do I have to be the same level as the monsters to leech party exp without hitting them? If not what is it? Thanks.
Re: What's the Leeching Formula?
Their level - 5 = level to leech. So 165+ for 170 mobs.

Re: What's the Leeching Formula?
And you get exp if anyone within 5 levels of you that hits the mobs.
Re: What's the Leeching Formula?
The quests needed for entering the stronghold have a level 165 requirement, so this doesn't even matter.
Though if you use mystic door to get in, you will find that you can enter stronghold at 160 (level required to enter future heny). Hyper rocks and family tele can send you in at 12X for all anyone cares, but 165 is the minimum to get exp.

Family Teleport can't get you into the Future. You get an error when you accept a summon/try to warp saying that your level is too low.
I tried it on my Paladin before I was 160, because I wanted to check it out before I was the right level. It wouldn't let me in.

As long as you can hit the monsters, you can get exp no matter what level you are.
