NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
Quote:
Remember that prototype Zelda cartridge going around for a tentative $150K? Well, it’s just been sold for $55K, setting a new record for the highest amount for a Nintendo Entertainment System game. The buyer’s identity was undisclosed. Seller Tom Curtin mentions price was not the only reason for selling the game.

Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
Butthurt current news knight there.
Why the pineapple are you posting something like this? That's not real news! Real news would be something like curing cancer or some sh'it, not some idiot buying a zelda cartridge game for who knows how much money! This forum isn't for scum like that. It's for important things only. Stop posting NOW. Never come back on southperry again! You're wasting my precious time pressing the back arrow on my browser+the time it takes to reply to that idiot post of yours. Jeez. People these days with their useless news. Stop giving attention to Nintendo and rich weirdos when you could give it to children who are dying in 3rd world countries! That's just what they want! Then more people will want to be like them and the degradating circle will continue and we will all be doomed for the eternity.
In case you don't get the sarcasm.
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
Because I'm so obnoxious I can't tell the meaning of NEWS!
ARGH!
I'll just go to the corner and cry :'(

I know :(
I was replying with the same feeling
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
This is vidyagames, why would it not belong here, in the news section of a video games forum? Not the same situation as the other.
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
^Totally read that post wrong...

Because I thought having the record of the most expensive game sold yet, was worthy to be a "new".
If anyone else feels like this doesn't belong here, I'll either delete or wait for a mod to move it.

Regardless, Eos already said news=all news, so by his standard it belongs here. But yeah, I doubt anyone will argue with that in this case anyway, it set a record and it's videogaems.
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
Current Events, not Current News I Think Are Important.
Eos already went over this.
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
I would consider that an event, that's a large sum of money for something as iconic as the original legend of zelda. Really don't know see the problem :f6:
Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.
The problem is I was mocking people. It had nothing to do with this article.

Re: NES ZELDA PROTOTYPE CARTRIDGE has been sold for $55k.

Would it would seriously hurt you to have read the entirety of his post? Or the rest of the thread for that matter? Where he already pointed out that he was being sarcastic?
All I know is I wish I had that much money to be able to throw away on what is a copy of the NES zelda with no real changes from the retail version...

Why don't you get a pineappleing sense of humor and stop insulting others for making jokes?
And by the way, that post of yours sounded even stupider than my superb imitation of ImagineAll and Fionne.

There's actually whole list of changes between the Prototype and the Released version. The guy made it: http://tcrf.net/Proto:The_Legend_of_Zelda
